Whefi.com is a personal project built by me Ahmed Mohamed Gaber, I have built this platform to practice coding and I hope it will provide you with a good user experience, you are most welcome to explore the website and share your feedback with me through the contact form and the project’s socials, your UX, Technical, and general feedback are all welcomed and highly appreciated.
When?
The ideation phase for this project started back in 2017, then I started coding for this project in August 2019, later the first beta version was launched in April 2020, and since then I have been working to improve the application using a variety of technologies.

Meet Whefi the character that resembles a novel approach to surfing the internet. Whefi it the who, what, when, where, and why questions that keep us searching, the ever-existing power of curiosity, and the never-ending quest for knowledge and wisdom when meeting together to energize and ignite the existence of an ancient superhero. Whefi is your digital companion to ease your journey and guide you through the overflowing internet. A Phoenix bird that resurrects itself from the flame of knowledge then uniquely flies over the oceans in between the clouds while lifting itself through the breeze and thrives through the digital age.
Now Whefi will travel at the speed of light to pick for you the information you want from the internet and deliver it to you with a single click. Resilient as a phoenix, determined as her brother Horus , brave as a Lion, and fast as a ray of light. Your journey through the internet is easier and simpler than it ever was.

A better understanding of the web users will help improve their experience while surfing the web. Empathy is the road to success and to creating the maximum value for both the users and the project.

The project aims to be inclusive and accessible to everyone, the project is free to use, and it encourages cultural diversity. The project uses the ARIA specifications (Web Accessibility Initiative – Accessible Rich Internet Applications) to make sure that users with disabilities can use the project easily.
Simplicity:
The project aims to simplify the user journey on the web. The project aims to save time and effort by providing clear and simple steps to get things done. When it comes to finding information, the project aims to work as a hub that combines and filters data, then generates informative briefs that are simple yet modern.
Constant innovation:
Currently, whefi.com offers one product which is Whefi books, the search feature of Whefi Books offers book lovers the ability to search for books by title, author, or ISBN, in the future, inshallah more features and products will be added to the platform, providing the ground for constant innovation, therefore, expect continuous improvements and more services to be added. You can sign up and use the platform for free, the application is completely free to use and is experimenting with a new business model that is based on open data and affiliate marketing.
Professionalism:
Although this is a personal project, where I have been working on this on my own, I deal with it in a completely professional manner and I approach it the same way as if it is an established business, therefore the way I handle the project and the language that I use when presenting this project reflect that.
