First Setence:

"[Post created May 20, 2009] It was 1984 at the time. I was 14 years old spending the summer with my Vieques family. We were friends with and within walking distance of the home of the pilot, his first name was Bay. I will admit he was very young and this was only his third flight. Reports are that after takeoff one of the engines stalled and when he tried to turn around to come back to land, he turned in the wrong direction and the airplane flipped. He lost control and crashed into the ocean. There were no survivors. I was also friends with one of the passengers who was a 16 year old baseball player I used to play street ball with. He was in the co-pilots seat. I attended the viewing of the pilot very sad moment. Last words, we were scheduled to fly off the island that week but we canceled, my father came from St. Croix , we took a ferry boat to Puerto Rico and took a larger airplane home."
