25M67 Training Grenade (Accurate Weight, Impact Resistant) (5665277)

M84 Stun Grenade Trainer: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5665214 This is a M67 fragmentation grenade made for my ROTC unit for tactical training. It has seven voids inside and is designed to accept a 1.75" section of 5/8" threaded rod through the center of it and six 1" pieces of the same rod around it to to make it the exact same weight as a real M67. Use it for your own tactical training, airsofting, and more! Some assembly tips found via trial and error: - Print the halves of the grenade with the flat face down and supports in the voids - Print the fuse of the grenade vertically but inverted (top flat face on print bed) - Print all parts separately, TPU strings readily - Cutting the threaded rod will result in burrs that complicate inserting it, bevel the edges for easier insertion - Heating the rods in the oven to about 300F or on a gas stove flame lets you heat-fit the rods for easier fitment and stronger adhesion (I can't imagine doing it without heat fitting) - Using a vice to force the two halves of the grenade together would be best, but a rubber mallet worked for me: the tolerances of the voids are designed to keep the halves together with a considerable amount of force and require a similar amount of force to put together - Consider printing the top half with more walls: some of my grenades broke at the fuse stem on the top half of the grenade body

Hardware implementation of artificial neural networks imposes a variety of constraints. Finite weight magnitudes exist in both digital and analog devices. Additional limitations are encountered due to the imprecise nature of hardware components. These constraints can be overcome with a stochastic global optimization strategy which effectively searches the range of the weight space and is robust to quantization and modeling errors. Analyses of generic shipboard work tasks indicate that the majority of assigned duties involve heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling efforts. Findings of this investigation show that aerobic/circuit weight training elicited significantly higher scores than aerobic/calisthenic training for the majority of upper and lower torso muscular strength measures. These data suggest that a 15-minute circuit weight training regimen be considered to augment current Navy aerobic oriented physical conditioning programs for enhanced physical readiness. (Author)

35DTIC AD1014067: A Comparison Of Robotic, Body Weight Supported Locomotor Training And Aquatic Therapy In Chronic Motor Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury Subjects

At the end of study year 4 we completed all expected enrollment, intervention, and data collection as per our protocol. All necessary IRB approvals were obtained, and all regulatory documents submitted including the annual IRB continuing review, attached to this report (Shepherd IRB and University Maryland). All study personnel hold current certifications in order to participate in research. Multiple meetings occurred, both in person (at ASIA conference in San Antonio, May 2014) and via monthly teleconferencing in order to coordinate activities between the Baltimore and the Atlanta sites. Thirty seven research participants initiated the study (with 6 drop outs) by the September 30, 2014 end of enrollment date. Screening data entry and analysis is initiated and we eagerly examining our outcome data. Two manuscripts are published and 11 presentations (platform and poster) occurred from our study proposal and screening data analysis to date.
