CES is renowned for being a mecca for tech companies. Even so, for 2022 it's attracting a record amount of automotive exhibitors and speakers. One out of three attendees will be coming from automotive and mobility companies. Gary Shapiro, the CEO of the Consumer Technology Association which runs CES, talks about why automotive companies are so devoted to the show and why they want to be there. Also joining the discussion are Pete Bigelow from Automotive News and Sam Abuelsamid from Guidehouse Insights.

The technology advancement topics described are a part of the supporting research and technology (SRT) program conducted to support the major Stirling engine development program. This support focuses on developing alternatives or backups to the engine development in critical areas. These areas are materials, seals control, combustors and system analysis. Specific objectives and planned milestone schedules for future activities as now envisioned are described. These planned SRT activities are related to the timeline of the engine development program that they must support.

The research aims to develop interactive teaching materials that are integrated with LMS (e-learning) so that the learning process takes place effectively. This research is a type of Research and Development (R and D) research to improve student learning outcomes in the Basic Automotive Technology subject. The development method used in this research is to follow the ADDIE model. The subjects of this research are Learning Media, Learning Materials and Instructional Design. The next lesson is the students of Cibinong Mechanical Vocational School, namely class X TKR 1 as the experimental class. The results of the research show that the quality of the e-learning based interactive learning multimedia that was developed is in the very valid category (88.89), very good in one to one trials (91.07%), very good for small groups (91,93%) and very good for large groups (93,04%). Meanwhile, the tcount value is 6.701 and the ttable value at the 5% significance level is 2.051, so tcount>ttabel or 6.701>2.051, so ha is accepted and h0 is rejected. This means that there is a significant difference in the ability to understand material presented using media. So, it is concluded that interactive multimedia based on e-learning is feasible and effective and can improve student learning outcomes.

www.DaytonaState.edu/SkilledTrades Car buffs looking to break into the auto collision repair industry can now get their training during evening classes at Daytona State College beginning in January 2016. The new night courses leading to a vocational certificate in Auto Body and Collision Repair will be offered at Daytona State's Advanced Technology College (ATC) off Williamson Blvd. in Daytona Beach. "Through our advisory committee network, graduates are being placed at dealerships and independent repair facilities from New Smyrna Beach to DeLand and Bunnell," said program manager Gene Deyo. "For anyone interested in cars and trucks, the collision repair industry offers an excellent opportunity to work with your hands on all different types of vehicles, doing what you love, with the potential for very good earnings." The one-year program is open to high school, college-level and adult students, particularly those interested in preparing for I-CAR and ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification tests, including the ASE B2 exam (painting and refinishing), which is included with tuition and can be taken on site at the ATC. Students will receive hands-on training in areas that include unibody and frame damage analysis, refinishing, collision repair, welding repair, metal straightening and body filling, modern painting processes and more. The program is accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). Financial aid and scholarships are available. Deyo said 90 percent of program graduates land jobs with local dealerships and independent repair facilities. Nationally, average wages for collision repair experts range from $26,000 annually for entry-level workers to $70,000 and higher for those with experience. "Our Advisory Committee members report paying wages of $75,000 to $100,000 for topnotch painters and body repair technicians," said Deyo. As changes in information technology have a significant impact on the structure of companies, integration within the supply chain, which exists directly or indirectly in the structure of any company, can be beneficial for company performance. This study examines the indirect impact of customer responsiveness integration within the supply chain on the economic sustainability of the supply chain through the adoption of blockchain technology as a dynamic capability component in the automotive industry using a Bayesian Structural Equation Modeling (BSEM) approach. The statistical population of the study consists of experts, supervisors, and managers of automotive companies, with 123 individuals selected through non-probability sampling. To assess the validity of the questionnaire, opinions of experts were sought, and Cronbach's alpha was used to determine the reliability of the questionnaires. The SEM-AMOS24 software was used to analyze the research hypotheses and examine the validity of the model using BSEM. The findings of the study indicate that internal integration, including customer and supplier integration, and external integration within the supply chain, have a significant impact on the relationship between blockchain technology adoption and the economic sustainability of the supply chain. Additionally, customer responsiveness about Supply Chain Integration (SCI) and economic sustainability is achieved by attracting desirable domestic and foreign investors.
