Throughout the scientific literature, numerous studies have investigated the biases leading to diagnostic errors, however few studies have set up experimental protocols to understand the different moderators influencing clinical reasoning and decision-making. Recent studies (Schurmans et al., 2022; Haimi et al., 2020; Mason et al., 2020, Mamede et al., 2017) suggest that contextual elements can influence clinical reasoning. These conextual elements should'nt impact on diagnosis, since they do not provide medical information. However, a number of studies have shown that these elements have an effect on clinical reasoning, since they may be responsible for an additional cognitive load. Indeed, these contextual elements can add an emotional charge to the doctor's reasoning. . In this study, we will focus mainly on elements relating to interactions that the clinician may have with patients. These will include, for example, parents' attitudes towards the doctor (worried, annoyed...) or their appearance and socio-economic level. We aim to explore the influence of contextual elements on clinical reasoning, through the use of clinical vignettes commonly used in medical studies. We will also explore the influence of interpersonal variables such as cognitive style of reasoning or empathy, as well as demographic data (experience, age, gender).
