In women they're 15-70ng/dL though Centers for Disease Control list 8-49 ng/dL as healthy. The importance of this differential is this: are you focused on optimal ranges or on norms? And choosing a conservative governmental guideline or anyone quoting them, if you don't feel good may leave out missing peer-reviewed evidence that other information exists. Remember it takes almost 2 decades, an average of 17 years for research to make it into mainstream. It takes longer to change a position statement or governmental guideline. Recently, while experimenting with ways to stabilize levels of hormones overall, my tested level was well below 15, once at a 6! Not a great way to boost lean muscle mass. And I knew it. Where once I was lifting X lbs, I was struggling with X- [purposefully, leaving numbers out.. There should be no comparison of what weight I lift to what what you lift. Heavy for you is reaching fatigue and the number of repetitions you should be reaching fatigue. The point... what was normal and challenging just a few months ago was suddenly not doable. That's a measure of both testosterone attached to proteins in the body and those not, that is referred to as free testosterone. It's less commonly tested but measures the available testosterone in your body. Why do men struggle with expressing their emotions? Often they've spent much of their lives learning how to avoid feeling vulnerable at all costs-adhering to values such as toughness, assertiveness, logic, disciple, and confidence. They are trained to feel like expressing their emotions is a \"weakness,\" making them reluctant to embrace being vulnerable. How can we help men/ emotional withdrawers open up and be vulnerable? As a partner, you can encourage vulnerability by creating safety. A soft approach is important to reassure the withdrawer that they aren't doing anything \"wrong.\" Being too pushy can make the withdrawer more defensive and retreat. When initiating a conversation, it should be an invitation-not an accusation. Being vulnerable can take time... so pace it and celebrate the little wins! We want men/withdrawers to embrace the positive benefits of vulnerability to bring deeper intimacy!

Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic, a psychologist and chief talent scientist at ManpowerGroup, says we're not picking leaders in the right way. To improve leadership across the board, we need to focus on the metrics proven to enhance performance and set higher standards for everyone. The theoretical model for the quasiparticle self-energy in HTSC is proposed, which is based on the forward scattering peak in the electron-phonon (EPI) interaction. By assuming that EPI dominates, the model explains qualitatively and in a consistent way the recent ARPES results. The latter show a kink in the normal state quasiparticle energy at 70 meV in the nodal direction, which is (surprisingly) not shifted in the superconducting (SC) state, while the singularity at 40 meV in the anti-nodal direction is shifted by the SC gap. The model predicts a dip-hump structure in the spectral function, which is observed in ARPES.

Intermediate School District 287 (ISD 287) provides intensive educational supports to its students. Like many school districts across the nation and in Minnesota, IDS 287 has contracted with police departments to station police officers (called "School Resource Officers") in school buildings. However, ISD 287 ended these contracts and, beginning in school year 2017-2018, have used district employees titled "Student Safety Coaches" to build positive relationships with students and staff, intervene in difficult moments, and promote safety in district buildings. This evaluation combines multiple means of data collection. Researchers first met with relevant staff and reviewed district job descriptions and training documents to complete a logic model for the Student Safety Coach program. Next, researchers conducted a brief search of the literature to determine what, if any, best practices exist for school-based behavior responders. Finding very little literature, as the move away from police officers in school and toward other means of behavior intervention is relatively new, researchers reviewed literature examining why schools may decide to stop using police officers in school, and what promising practices may be emerging for school-based behavior interventionists. Finally, researchers developed and disseminated an online survey to district staff to understand staff perceptions of impact and possible areas for improvement to the Student Safety Coach program.
