CW: this MAP contains graphic imagery of animal death and tornadoes This MAP is about Hawkstorm's inability to cope with the guilt and blame of Tadpole's death. Hawkstorm was born in thunderclan as Tawnykit alongside his siblings Bramblekit and Tadpolekit (Tadpole for short!). But on one unfortunate day, Tawnykit and his siblings stray from home and play inside an old, abandoned barn in the midst of a Tornado. Fireheart manages to catch up to the kits but he's too late. The barn collapses on Tadpole and Fireheart has to stop Tawnykit's attempts to rescue Tadpole to avoid losing him to the rubble too. On their way back to Thunderclan, Tawnykit can't let go of the feeling that if Fireheart hadn't stopped him, he could've saved Tadpole. Unable to cope with the weight of guilt and blame, Tawnykit runs off never to return back home but he'll never be able to run away from the haunting figure that manifests these feelings. Tawnykit renames himself Hawkstorm and takes on the "storm" suffix as a way to symbolize how he will never be able to let go of that stormy day. Years later, Hawkstorm tries to rekindle his relationship with his estranged brother Brambleclaw but their relationship is strained because of Brambleclaw's loyalty to Firestar. When another tornado strikes Thunderclan, Firestar gets caught in a fox trap. The mystery of the tunnels, Fallen leaves, Rock, and time travel have always been my favorite subplot of warrior cats. But despite all it's potential to be an interesting and compelling story, I've always felt let down by the direction that canon Warriors took. So I've been messing around with these story elements and trying to piece together some narrative I felt would meet that potential. Song choice after song choice, plot theme after plot theme, script after script... nothing seem to hit right until 3 years later... I finally came up with Traveler-Feather! Traveler-Feather is about the never ending time loop of pain and revenge that Jayfeather and Fallenleaves are trapped in until one of them finally decides to make a change. The U.S. has spent billions of dollars to alleviate water issues in West Africa and promote sustainable development. However, water scarcity continues to present overwhelming challenges that impact the health and development of West African nations. Influencing these areas requires a multi-pronged approach that relies heavily on capability and capacity development programs. Agencies that spearhead these projects must understand the operational environment of West Africa, have access to knowledgeable personnel with specific skill sets, and be capable of working with a variety of organizations to develop long-term partnerships. The Army Reserve Component (RC) may have the technical expertise and capacity to develop beneficial partnerships with West Africa to alleviate water scarcity, if it is leveraged appropriately.
