This scoping review aims to map and synthesize the scientific evidence on the advances and applications of computational cognitive neuroscience in psychology over the past ten years. It seeks to identify the main tools, methodologies, and areas of application, as well as the existing challenges and future perspectives for integrating these technologies into the field. The review will follow the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology and adhere to the PRISMA-ScR guidelines. The research question, structured using the PCC mnemonic, focuses on exploring how computational neuroscience has been applied within cognitive neuroscience in psychology across different contexts and populations.
