Currently the automation through decision support systems, plays a key role within the production chain, from small to large companies, this study proposes a fuzzy inference model, in the support in decision making measures of the production management system of a given plastic packaging plant. Analyzing the distinctions in a forceful way of each step that end up influencing the process, and aiming to adapt to customer requests. Using as principle for the proposed system the adequacy of work shifts using the maximum production that the plant has. The MatLab software was used to treat the data, thus adjusting the variables, which were selected due to their degree of influence on the cycle because they are variables that determine the order of the product's manufacture, are they: delivery time, quantity required, manufacturing process and the quantity of shifts that will be needed to produce a particular product, observing with the use of this tool an improvement in shift management, which reduced unnecessary costs, and a good understanding in the production cycle in relation to the characteristics of orders.

This study will investigate the impact of awe on cognition and reasoning. Whilst there is some research pertaining to awe’s relationship with cognitive processing, there is a gap in the literature pertaining to the impact of awe on dual process reasoning. The present research seeks to fill that gap by investigating how a state of awe impacts an individual’s tendency to engage in intuitive (type 1) versus deliberate (type 2) reasoning using a syllogistic reasoning task. Similarly, it is uncertain how Awe impacts cognitive processing relating to ‘pseudo profound bullshit’, that is, statements that use metaphysical language but are nonsensical. This study seeks to establish whether awe promotes the endorsement of these kinds of pseudo profound statements. Finally, this study is concerned with how an individual’s tolerance of uncertainty moderates any effects of awe on their reasoning.

This book consists of eight chapters. In the introductory part of the thesis, the historical development process of the neutrosophic structure theory is given. In the second part, the effect of the neutrosophic logic on the decision tree has been compiled. In the third chapter, the Prospector Neutro Function with their applications were studied. In the fourth chapter, the subject of Neutro ordered R-module and their properties is examined in detail. In the fifth chapter, the Fundamental Theorem in neutrosophic Euclidean Geometry is given. In the sixth chapter, the solutions of some Kandasamy-Smarandache problems about neutrosophic complex numbers and group of units' problem are given. In the seventh chapter, the algebraic creativity in the neutrosophic square matrices and the results are given with examples. Finally, in the eighth chapter, the results and suggestions obtained in the thesis are given.

Heinrich Behmann (1891-1970) obtained his Habilitation under David Hilbert in G\"ottingen in 1921 with a thesis on the decision problem. In his thesis, he solved-independently of L\"owenheim and Skolem's earlier work-the decision problem for monadic second-order logic in a framework that combined elements of the algebra of logic and the newer axiomatic approach to logic then being developed in G\"ottingen. In a talk given in 1921, he outlined this solution, but also presented important programmatic remarks on the significance of the decision problem and of decision procedures more generally. The text of this talk as well as a partial English translation are included.

We develop an incremental-tableau-based decision procedure for the multi-agent epistemic logic MAEL(CD) (aka S5_n (CD)), whose language contains operators of individual knowledge for a finite set Ag of agents, as well as operators of distributed and common knowledge among all agents in Ag. Our tableau procedure works in (deterministic) exponential time, thus establishing an upper bound for MAEL(CD)-satisfiability that matches the (implicit) lower-bound known from earlier results, which implies ExpTime-completeness of MAEL(CD)-satisfiability. Therefore, our procedure provides a complexity-optimal algorithm for checking MAEL(CD)-satisfiability, which, however, in most cases is much more efficient. We prove soundness and completeness of the procedure, and illustrate it with an example.

This volume collects together revised papers originally presented at the 7th Conference on Logic and the Foundations of Game and Decision Theory (LOFT 2006). LOFT is a key venue for presenting research at the intersection of logic, economics and computer science, and the present collection gives a lively and wide-ranging view of an exciting and rapidly growing area.

This report attempts to define and conceptualize the essential logic of the decision-making process which planners follow. The report proposes a look at decision-making theory to see if there exists some conceptualization of decision making which can be varied to fit the context in which decisions must be made. To provide for situational adjustments, a behavioral character must be graphed into a normative framework to provide for some measure of deviation from the norm that is being sought. In building this conceptual framework, two criteria were followed: (1) Throughout the model, logic and consistency must prevail; and (2) the resulting model must be useful to the problems at hand. The final conceptualization is a piecing together of current decision theory and its application to the planning situation. A literature review makes up the body of the document, followed by the proposed model and a summary of its shortcomings and implications. (LN)
