The Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America, founded in 1914, produced this documentary to mark its 50th anniversary. The film is a history of the U.S. labor movement between 1900 and 1964, with an emphasis on improvements the union won for workers, and bitter and sometimes violent struggles with industrial leaders and federal and state governments. Coverage of the 2017 Wisconsin Book Festival in Madison

On the night of the Eta Aquariid meteor shower from the tail of Haley’s Comet—May 5 through 6, 2025–I played a twelve-hour game of seven-dimensional chess with my grandmother Nut while I commissioned two avatars: Asher and Cy, who are Malakbel and Tammuz respectively. And as I walked home, after my grandmother showed me the Great Womb in the sky, I received my inheritance from the great cultivators of the women of my father’s family in Upper Egypt: the power of the Weavers, who are the cultivators of the Fabric of Time. Fun fact: as far as this world is concerned, after last night, I’m now the most powerful Elohim who has ever lived.

This book follows their joys and sorrows and scrapes along the path to the girl's becoming grown up "little women". <br /><br /> Many of the scrapes they get into include Laurie--their harum scarum next door neighbor, who becomes their adopted brother.
