We should know who's coming into our country and why.” “We shouldn't judge people based on a shared identity, but rather by their individual beliefs and conduct,” said Proft. “And we shouldn't give our government more money or power than it needs to enforce the freedoms enshrined in our Bill of Rights.” Proft’s comments came during an episode critiquing the political dialogue in the West after the Hamas terrorist attack in Gaza on October 7. The discourse, said Proft, is divided between those who recognize the threat of a minority combining Islam with fascism and those who resist this viewpoint, often with anti-Western sentiments. Proft launched “Counterculture” — co-hosted by American Greatness and Restoration News — in September 2023. He also is the co-host of “Chicago’s Morning Answer” weekday mornings from 5-9 a.m. on AM 560 Chicago. A former Republican candidate for Illinois Governor, Proft attended Northwestern University and received his J.D. from Loyola University-Chicago.

Epstein is the Laurence A. Tisch Professor of Law at New York University as well as an Adjunct Scholar at the Cato Institute.
