   Introducing Packet-ShareWare and Packet-PLUS software for IBM PC and    compatibles, and AEA PK-87, PK-88, PK-232, and HK-232 Terminal Node    Controllers.  Several months of development and testing have produced an    advanced user interface program to control your packet station.  The    program is available either as a ShareWare program, or the PLUS version.    The PLUS version adds file transfer, QSO log, Quick-Connects, Direct    Terminal mode, and other features.    This document introduces the ShareWare version.  This version allows you    to test and review the program philosophy so that you can assess the    abilities of the program to meet your own needs, and to  see how easy and    fast it is to learn and use.  Once you are familiar with the Shareware    version, we hope you will register with us, and find out more about the    additional features available in the advanced PLUS version.                    Why use Packet-ShareWare or Packet-PLUS ?    Perhaps the most unique feature about packet operation is that it PERMITS    MULTIPLE QSOs from a single packet station to several other stations.  In    addition, you can monitor a channel while in QSO with one or more other    stations.  As an analogy to other amateur modes of operation, this is    like having multiple QSOs going on different frequencies while continuing    to tune around the band.  In the case of packet radio operation, we think    in terms of "time slices" not "frequencies" but the idea is the same,    with this software, you can be tuning into multiple time slices without    confusion.  Normal communication software is not designed for multiple    connects, nor for monitoring a channel separately from communicating with    that channel.    Once you grasp the notion of multiple connects, and simultaneous    monitoring, you will no doubt find it quite natural and easy, if you have    computer software designed for such multi-tasks.  Without such software,    the TNC is bound to the limits of your communications software, and to    your ability to sort out the barrage of frames that will come across your    screen.    Software such as PC-talk, Procomm, Q-modem, Ascom, Crosstalk, Smartcom,    and others are adequate for single connect operation, but provide no    support for a multi-connect environment like packet radio.

Das Werk wird oft als Vorläufer der modernen Comics bezeichnet da die zahlreichen, von Busch selbst gezeichneten Bilder, in so enger Beziehung zu dem Text stehen. In Paarreimen erzählt die Geschichte von den bösartigen Streichen der zwei Buben Max und Moritz, deren Streiche sich hauptsächlich gegen Respektspersonen der damaligen Gesellschaft richten. Diese Geschichte ist für ein sehr junges sowohl als auch für ein Erwachsenes Publikum geeignet. Viele werden sich an diese Geschichte aus ihrer Kindheit liebevoll erinnern.
