Florida State Seminoles football earned its first season-opening win since 2016 on Saturday, taking down the Duquesne Dukes 47-7 inside Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee.It was a fantastic showing by the running back room, with the Seminoles setting a school record by having three players (Treshaun Ward, Trey Benson and Lawrance Toafili) record at least 100 rushing yards. All six of the Seminoles touchdowns came on the ground, with quarterback Jordan Travis and true freshman Rodney Hill also ending the end zone.With no turnovers forced and just one sack, there weren't any \"wow\" plays from the defense, but statistically FSU got the job done, only allowing a score following a 50-yard interception return off an errant Tate Rodemaker throw.So what takeaways are there from the 40-point win? The Trojan football team took on the Georgia State Panthers football team Saturday and before the game, it looked like they would have all of their running backs available after a scare during the South Alabama game left them one player short. TROY TrojanVision News’ Joshua Thomas gave us a look before the game.

Quarterbacks have won the Heisman five years in a row, and 13 times since the year 2000 The most coveted award in college football has gone to a quarterback for most of this century, but two of this year's finalists hope that won't be the case this time around. The three players who will be in New York for Saturday's award ceremony include two running backs: Alabama's Derrick Henry, and Stanford's Christian McCaffrey, along with Clemson quarterback DeShaun Watson. Recent history puts the odds in Watson's favor. . Henry, however, appears to be the frontrunner, having set a SEC record with 1,986 yards rushing, and leading the nation with 23 touchdowns. McCaffrey is a different kind of back, having set a new NCAA records for all-purpose yards in a season with nearly 3,500. Watson is also versatile, having accounted for 41 passing and rushing touchdowns combined, and he fits the mold of recent dual-threat quarterback winners like Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel and Auburn's Cam Newton. He would be the first Heisman winner for Clemson, while it would be the second for either Alabama or Stanford.

Capital, Volume I is the first of three volumes in Karl Marx’s monumental work, Das Kapital, and the only volume to be published during his lifetime, in 1867.<br /><br />Marx’s aim in Capital, Volume I is to uncover and explain the laws specific to the capitalist mode of production and of the class struggles rooted in these capitalist social relations of production. Marx said himself that his aim was “to bring a science [i.e. political economy] by criticism to the point where it can be dialectically represented”, and in this way to “reveal the law of motion of modern society”. By showing how capitalist development was the precursor of a new, socialist mode of production, he aimed to provide a scientific foundation for the modern labour movement. Originally written as a series of newspaper articles in 1847, Wage-Labour and Capital was intended to give an overview of Marx’s central theories regarding the economic relationships between workers and capitalists. These theories outlined include the Marxian form of the Labour Theory of Value, which distinguishes “labour” from “labour-power”, and the Theory of Concentration of Capital, which states that capitalism tends towards the creation of monopolies and the disenfranchisement of the middle and working classes. 6Communist Manifesto (version 2)

The Communist Manifesto was conceived as an outline of the basic beliefs of the Communist movement. The authors believed that the European Powers were universally afraid of the nascent movement, and were condemning as "communist," people or activities that did not actually conform to what the Communists believed. This Manifesto, then, became a manual for their beliefs.<br><br>In it we find Marx and Engel's rehearsal of the idea that Capital has stolen away the work of the artisan and peasant by building up factories to produce goods cheaply. The efficiency of Capital depends, then, on the wage laborers who staff the factories and how little they will accept in order to have work. This concentrates power and money in a Bourgeois class that profits from the disunity of workers (Proletarians), who only receive a subsistence wage.<br><br>If workers unite in a class struggle against the bourgeois, using riot and strikes as weapons, they will eventually overthrow the bourgeois and replace them as a ruling class. Communists further believe in and lay out a system of reforms to transform into a classless, stateless society, thus distinguishing themselves from various flavors of Socialism, which would be content to have workers remain the ruling class after the revolution.<br><br>The Manifesto caused a huge amount of discussion for its support for a forcible overthrow of the existing politics and society.
