This will be a systematic literature search based scoping review, in order to find out, how self-acceptance as a construct is defined in combination to stuttering and how self-acceptance of stuttering can be administred. Based on prior empirical work from other stuttering, associations between self-acceptance and in particular quality of life in stuttering are expected - meaning the higher self-acceptance is the higher stutterers score in quality of life questionnaires. Additionally a research gap in the valid and reliable assessment of self-acceptance in adults who stutter is expected.
