Buch and Fulton conjectured the nonnegativity of the quiver coefficients appearing in their formula for a quiver variety. Knutson, Miller and Shimozono proved this conjecture as an immediate consequence of their ``component formula''. We present an alternative proof of the component formula by substituting combinatorics for Grobner degeneration. We relate the component formula to the work of Buch, Kresch, Tamvakis and the author where a ``splitting'' formula for Schubert polynomials in terms of quiver coefficients was obtained. We prove analogues of this latter result for the type BCD-Schubert polynomials of Billey and Haiman.

We relate the representations of the rational Cherednik algebras associated with the complex reflection group G(m,1,n) to sheaves on Nakajima quiver varieties associated with extended Dynkin gaphs via a Z-algebra construction. As the parameters defining the Cherednik algebra vary, the stability conditions defining the quiver variety change. We interpret the ordering on category O geometrically using this relationship; we also relate the geometry to the a-function for Hecke algebras with unequal parameters.

In this paper we consider the (affine) Schur algebra introduced by Vign\'eras as the endomorphism algebra of certain permutation modules for the Iwahori-Matsumoto Hecke algebra. This algebra describes, for a general linear group over a $p$-adic field, a large part of the unipotent block over fields of characteristic different from $p$. We show that this Schur algebra is, after a suitable completion, isomorphic to the quiver Schur algebra attached to the cyclic quiver. The isomorphism is explicit, but nontrivial. As a consequence, the completed (affine) Schur algebra inherits a grading. As a byproduct we obtain a detailed description of the algebra with a basis adapted to the geometric basis of quiver Schur algebras. We illustrate the grading in the explicit example of $\mathrm{GL}_2(\mathbb{Q}_5)$ in characteristic $3$

Seiberg-Witten geometry of mass deformed N=2 superconformal ADE quiver gauge theories in four dimensions is determined. We solve the limit shape equations derived from the gauge theory and identify the space M of vacua of the theory with the moduli space of the genus zero holomorphic (quasi)maps to the moduli space of holomorphic G-bundles on a (possibly degenerate) elliptic curve defined in terms of the microscopic gauge couplings, for the corresponding simple ADE Lie group G. The integrable systems underlying, or, rather, overlooking the special geometry of M are identified. The moduli spaces of framed G-instantons on R^2xT^2, of G-monopoles with singularities on R^2xS^1, the Hitchin systems on curves with punctures, as well as various spin chains play an important role in our story. We also comment on the higher dimensional theories. In the companion paper the quantum integrable systems and their connections to the representation theory of quantum affine algebras will be discussed

We give a complete description of all self-injective artin algebras of infinite representation type whose component quiver has no short cycles.

We describe recent work on preprojective algebras and moduli spaces of their representations. We give an analogue of Kac's Theorem, characterizing the dimension types of indecomposable coherent sheaves over weighted projective lines in terms of loop algebras of Kac-Moody Lie algebras, and explain how it is proved using Hall algebras. We discuss applications to the problem of describing the possible conjugacy classes of sums and products of matrices in known conjugacy classes.

We consider N=2 quiver Chern-Simons theories described by brane tilings, whose moduli spaces are toric Calabi-Yau 4-folds. Simple prescriptions to obtain toric data of the moduli space and a corresponding brane crystal from a brane tiling are proposed.

We study three-dimensional supersymmetric quiver gauge theories with a non-simply laced global symmetry primarily focusing on framed affine $B_{N}$ quiver theories. Using a supersymmetric partition function on a three sphere, and its transformation under S-duality, we study the three-dimensional ADHM quiver for $SO(2N+1)$ instantons with a half-integer Chern-Simons coupling. The theory after S-duality has no Lagrangian, and can not be represented by a single quiver, however its partition function can be conveniently described by a collection of framed affine ${B}_{N}$ quivers. This correspondence can be conjectured to generalize three-dimensional mirror symmetry to theories with nontrivial Chern-Simons terms. In addition, we propose a formula for the superconformal index of a theory described by a framed affine $B_N$ quiver.

We compute the space of stability conditions on the CY$_n$ version of the $A_2$ quiver for all $n$ and relate it to the Frobenius-Saito structure on the unfolding space of the $A_2$ singularity.

A dynamical Yang-Baxter map, introduced by Shibukawa, is a solution of the set-theoretical analogue of the dynamical Yang-Baxter equation. In this paper, we initiate a quiver-theoretical approach for the study of dynamical Yang-Baxter maps. Our key observation is that the category of dynamical sets over a set $\Lambda$, introduced by Shibukawa to establish a categorical framework to deal with dynamical Yang-Baxter maps, can be embedded into the category of quivers with vertices $\Lambda$. By using this embedding, we shed light on Shibukawa's classification result of a certain class of dynamical Yang-Baxter maps and extend his construction to obtain a new class of dynamical Yang-Baxter maps. We also discuss a relation between Shibukawa's bialgebroid associated to a dynamical Yang-Baxter map and Hayashi's weak bialgebra associated to a star-triangular face model.

We study maximum antichains in two posets related to quiver representations. Firstly, we consider the set of isomorphism classes of indecomposable representations ordered by inclusion. For various orientations of the Dynkin diagram of type A we construct a maximum antichain in the poset. Secondly, we consider the set of subrepresentations of a given quiver representation, again ordered by inclusion. It is a finite set if we restrict to linear representations over finite fields or to representations with values in the category of pointed sets. For particular situations we prove that this poset is Sperner.

In this note we prove a new explicit formula for the invariants of moduli spaces of twisted Higgs bundles over P^1 and we relate these invariants to the invariants of moduli spaces of representations of some infinite symmetric quiver. The formula can be easily implemented for computations and it is in agreement with the existing conjectures for the invariants of twisted Higgs bundles over curves. Results of this note were presented in Oberwolfach in May 2014.

Print them in the orientation that they sit in the STL file. if you print them so that the layers are parallel to the bending stress in the arrow holders they will break. I learned this the hard way. I have not tested quiver2. Quiver1 replaces the counter weight.

In this paper, we give a method for relating the generalized category $\mathcal{O}$ defined by the author and collaborators to explicit finitely presented algebras, and apply this to quiver varieties. This allows us to describe combinatorially not just the structure of these category $\mathcal{O}$'s but also how certain interesting families of derived equivalences, the shuffling and twisting functors, act on them. In the case of Nakajima quiver varieties, the algebras that appear are weighted KLR algebras and their steadied quotients, defined by the author in earlier work. In particular, these give a geometric construction of canonical bases for simple representations, tensor products and Fock spaces. If the $\mathbb{C}^*$-action used to define the category $\mathcal{O}$ is a "tensor product action" in the sense of Nakajima, then we arrive at the unique categorifications of tensor products; in particular, we obtain a geometric description of the braid group actions used by the author in defining categorifications of Reshetikhin-Turaev invariants. Similarly, in affine type A, an arbitrary action results in the diagrammatic algebra equivalent to blocks of category $\mathcal{O}$ for cyclotomic Cherednik algebras. This approach also allows us to show that these categories are Koszul and understand their Koszul duals; in particular, we can show that categorifications of minuscule tensor products in types ADE are Koszul. In the affine case, this shows that our category $\mathcal{O}$'s are Koszul and their Koszul duals are given by category $\mathcal{O}$'s with rank-level dual dimension data, and that this duality switches shuffling and twisting functors.

In the context of 4D/2D dualities, SH$^c$ algebra, introduced by Schiffmann and Vasserot, provides a systematic method to analyse the instanton partition functions of $\mathcal{N}=2$ supersymmetric gauge theories. In this paper, we rewrite the SH$^c$ algebra in terms of three holomorphic fields $D_0(z)$, $D_{\pm1}(z)$ with which the algebra and its epresentations are simplified. The instanton partition functions for arbitrary $\mathcal{N}=2$ super Yang-Mills theories with $A_n$ and $A^{(1)}_n$ type quiver diagrams are compactly expressed as a product of four building blocks: Gaiotto state, dilatation, flavor vertex operator and intertwiner which are written in terms of SH$^c$ and the orthogonal basis introduced by Alba, Fateev, Litvinov and Tarnopolskiy. These building blocks are characterized by new conditions which generalize the known ones on the Gaiotto state and the Carlsson-Okounkov vertex. Consistency conditions of the inner product give algebraic relations for the chiral ring generating functions defined by Nekrasov, Pestun and Shatashvili. In particular we show the polynomiality of the qq-characters which have been introduced as a deformation of the Yangian characters. These relations define a second quantization of the Seiberg-Witten geometry, and, accordingly, reduce to a Baxter TQ-equation in the Nekrasov-Shatashvili limit of the Omega-background.

Associated to each finite group $\Gamma$ in $SL_2(C)$ there is a family of noncommutative algebras which deforms the coordinate ring of the Kleinian singularity corresponding to that group. These algebras were defined by W. Crawley-Boevey and M. Holland, who also suggested a conjectural correspondence between the set of isomorphism classes of rank one projective modules over these algebras and associated Nakajima quiver varieties. In \cite{BGK}, V.Baranovski, V.Ginzburg and A.Kuznetsov proved the Crawley-Boevey-Holland conjecture using the methods of noncommutative projective geometry. In this paper we will state a refined ($G$-equivariant) version of this conjecture and, in the case of cyclic groups, give a new construction of this correspondence based on the notion of DG-model of a rank one projective module. This construction leads to a completely explicit description of ideals of the Crawley-Boevey-Holland algebras.

This is a brief introduction to the quiver Hecke algebras of Khovanov, Lauda and Rouquier, emphasizing their application to the categorification of quantum groups. The text is based on lectures given by the author at the ICRA workshop in Bielefeld in August, 2012.

A precise conjecture relating a K-theoretic partition function of this moduli space to refined open string invariants of toric lagrangian branes is formulated for conifold and local P^1 x P^1 geometries.

We study metastable dynamical breaking of supersymmetry in A_n quiver gauge theories. We present a general analysis and criteria for the perturbative existence of metastable vacua in quivers of any length. Different mechanisms of gauge mediation can be realized.

A unitary (Euclidean) representation of a quiver is given by assigning to each vertex a unitary (Euclidean) vector space and to each arrow a linear mapping of the corresponding vector spaces. We recall an algorithm for reducing the matrices of a unitary representation to canonical form, give a certain description of the representations in canonical form, and reduce the problem of classifying Euclidean representations to the problem of classifying unitary representations. We also describe the set of dimensions of all indecomposable unitary (Euclidean) representations of a quiver and establish the number of parameters in an indecomposable unitary representation of a given dimension.

Quiver Grassmannians are varieties parametrizing subrepresentations of a quiver representation. It is observed that certain quiver Grassmannians for type A quivers are isomorphic to the degenerate flag varieties investigated earlier by the second named author. This leads to the consideration of a class of Grassmannians of subrepresentations of the direct sum of a projective and an injective representation of a Dynkin quiver. It is proven that these are (typically singular) irreducible normal local complete intersection varieties, which admit a group action with finitely many orbits, and a cellular decomposition. For type A quivers explicit formulas for the Euler characteristic (the median Genocchi numbers) and the Poincare polynomials are derived.

My neighbor asked if I could design and print a replacement attachment for his Barnett Crossbow quiver. He said he, his wife and brother all had the same model and the quiver attachment broke on all three and the manufacturer would not respond when contacted about a replacement. My design is a beefier block with out the material saver hollowed out areas, a steel washer inserted during printing and a clip to help ensure it doesn't become detached. He used it hunting last weekend and said it worked great. It might print better if you did use support for the tunnel area that slides over the rail on the underside of the crossbow barrel/rail so to speak. I just filed it down a tad. No one sees it when it's installed anyway.

In this paper we discuss, in terms of quivers with relations, sufficient and necessary conditions for an algebra to be a quasitilted algebra. We start with an algebra with global dimension two and we give a sufficient condition for it to be a quasitilted algebra. We show that this condition is not necessary. In the case of a strongly simply connected schurian algebra, we discuss necessary conditions, and, combining both type of conditions, we are able to analyze if the given algebra is quasitilted. As an application we obtain the quiver with relations of all the tilted and cluster tilted algebras of Dynkin type $E_p$.

In this paper we construct and classify novel Drukker-Trancanelli (DT) type BPS Wilson loops along infinite straight lines and circles in $\mathcal N=2,3$ quiver superconformal Chern-Simons-matter theories, Aharony-Bergman-Jafferis-Maldacena (ABJM) theory, and $\mathcal N=4$ orbifold ABJM theory. Generally we have four classes of Wilson loops, and all of them preserve the same supersymmetries as the BPS Gaiotto-Yin (GY) type Wilson loops. There are several free complex parameters in the DT type BPS Wilson loops, and for two classes of Wilson loops in ABJM theory and $\mathcal N=4$ orbifold ABJM theory there are supersymmetry enhancements at special values of the parameters. We check that the differences of the DT type and GY type Wilson loops are $Q$-exact with $Q$ being some supercharges preserved by both the DT type and GY type Wilson loops. The results would be useful to calculate vacuum expectation values of the DT type Wilson loops in matrix models if they are still BPS quantum mechanically.

We completely describe the tree classes of the components of the stable Auslander-Reiten quiver of a quantum complete intersection. In particular, we show that the tree class is always $A_{\infty}$ whenever the algebra is of wild representation type. Moreover, in the tame case, there is one component of tree class $\tilde{A}_{12}$, whereas all the other are of tree class $A_{\infty}$.

The classical construction of representations of quivers enables us to consider linear maps between several vector spaces. The mixed representations of quivers helps us to work with linear maps as well as bilinear forms on several vector spaces. We construct a finite generating set for the T-ideal of identities of the polynomial invariants of mixed representations of a quiver.

The theory of Caldero-Chapoton algebras of Cerulli-Irelli, Labardini-Fragoso and Schroer leads to a refinement of the notions of cluster variables and clusters, via so called component clusters. In this paper we compare component clusters to classical clusters for the cluster algebra of an acyclic quiver. We propose a definition of mutation between component clusters and determine the mutation relations of component clusters for affine quivers. In the case of a wild quiver, we provide bounds for the size of component clusters.
