During the period 3-il' January 1972,1 and I attended a special weapons training course at the FBI caremy, Quantico, Virginia. Our purpose in attending the course was to 25X1 acquire additional knowledge and experieng2F 25X1 2. Upon our arrival we met Mr. Light, Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC), who introduced us to Mr. Mooney (SAC), who ulti- mately turned us over to John Cox, our primary instructor. Summary of Training Exercises Completed a. Preliminary range sessions with the revolver, including both single and double action firing exercises. b. Marksmanship courses fired included: 1) Practical Pistol Course (PPC) 2) Tactical Revolver Course (TRC) 3) Close Combat Course (CCC) (4) Double Action Course (DAC) (5) Multiple Electric Targets (6) Running Target (7) Dueling Course (8) Night Firing (9) Shotgun Courses 1, 2, 3 (10) Rifle Course 3. Other interesting and informative aspects of the training consisted of: a. A visit to the FBI laboratories and indoor range in the Department of Justice Building. Our participation in the course was certainly a meaningful and worthwhile dnterprise. As a result of the huge success experienced by the 'multi-restaurant' food service concept that was tested at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, CA, an implementation plan was required in order to provide other Marine Corps installations with recommendations for improving their individual food service operations based upon the test results at MCAGCC twentynine Palms. However, no two Marine Corps installations are alike. Data collection visits, therefore, were made to four additional Marine Corps installations: Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Marine Corps Air Station El Toro and Marine Corps Air Station (Helicopter) Santa Ana, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, and Marine Corps Development and Education Command Quantico, to determine what facets of this 'multi-restaurant' concept could be adopted for each specific location and to suggest improvements that could be made to upgrade each food service operation. The report contains those recommendations.

This document is an architectural survey of 56 properties constructed between 1947 and 1952 at Camp Upshur, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia (MCB Quantico). These properties were part of a larger grouping utilized by the Basic School (TBS) from 1955 to 1958. This report determines if these 56 properties are eligible to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). None of the buildings surveyed were found to be individually eligible for the NRHP, nor was Camp Upshur found to be a historic district eligible for the NRHP. This survey was initiated for a Section 106 process at MCB Quantico and satisfies Section 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 as amended, and was used to determine the eligibility of these buildings and area for inclusion on the NRHP.

This data report consists of a six part statistical summary of surface weather observations. The six parts are: Part A - Weather Conditions/Atmospheric Phenomena, Part B - Precipitation/Snowfall/Snow Depth, Part C - Surface Winds, Part D - Ceiling versus Visibility/Sky Cover, Part E - Psychrometric Summaries, Part F - Station Pressure/Sea Level Pressure.
