Robotic Process Automation is a platform used to automate boring and repetitive computer processes using software bots so that humans could involve in tasks which include creativity and decision making which could not be done by robots. Optical Character Recognition takes out printed characters in an image and converts it to text. Google Tesseract OCR and Microsoft OCR were the commonly used OCR engines available in UiPath, a tool for Robotic Process Automation. In Previous, research on comparing those two open source OCR engine, there we made comparison on basic factors which included speed, hardware requirements, accuracy ,but in that case, accuracy was been calculated manually which gave us results but with less precise, as it was a manual process to substitute scraped data to that formulas, In this research we’ve made results with more precision by performing a String comparison algorithm named, “Levenshtein Distance Algorithm” which is deployed in UiPath.

Todays business activities have entered the modern era, which uses technology as the media. The application of technology is not only done by large companies, but also in MSMEs. The application of ERP technology, especially in CRM to manage customer relations with a company is very necessary for the interests and progress of a company. The business processes of the Weaving X MSMEs that use CRM are still running conventionally, where there is no adequate customer management which causes problems such as a collision that often happens in customer consultation schedules, the lack of real time information in customers, and the company is overwhelmed in communication with customers who are living in far places. The solution to this problem is to apply E CRM technology which is a model of managing customer relationships online. With the use of open source software such as Odoo both companies and customers can enjoy the convenience and benefits of services and features in the application. This is based on the evaluation of the testing conducted on 20 respondents regarding the implementation of Odoo based E CRM which showed the perceived ease of use with a percentage value of 48.33 agree and the perceived usefulness of 53.33 strongly agree . This means that the Odoo based E CRM is considered to be very helpful for a company in managing relationships with its customers. This is my personal attempt at digital facial reconstruction using only open source software. It is the end product of a project undertaken whilst at the University of Birmingham. The template of this reconstruction is a 3D scan of a REAL Saxon aged male skull, and I have attempted to recreate what he may have looked like. I am still as of yet attempting to layer the skin onto the model

This thesis describes the research effort into implementing cooperative behavior and control across heterogeneous vehicles using low cost off-the-shelf technologies and open source software. Current cooperative behavior and control methods are explored and improved upon to build analysis models. These analysis models characterize ideal factor settings for implementation and establish limits of performance for these low cost approaches to cooperative behavior and control. The research focused on latency and position accuracy as the two measures of performance. Three different ground control station (GCS) software applications and two types of vehicles, rover ground vehicles and aerial multi-rotors, were used in this research. Using optimum factor settings from Design of Experiments (DOE), the multi-rotor following rover vehicle configuration experienced almost twice the latency of other experiments but also the lowest positional error of 0.8 m. Results show that the achieved update frequency of 0.5 Hz or slower would be far too slow for close-formation flight.

It is widely recognized that simulation is pivotal to vehicle development, whether manned or unmanned. There are few dedicated choices, however, for those wishing to perform realistic, end-to-end simulations of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). The Virtual Autonomous Navigation Environment (VANE), under development by US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), provides such capabilities but utilizes a High Performance Computing (HPC) Computational Testbed (CTB) and is not intended for on-line, real-time performance. A product of the VANE HPC research is a real-time desktop simulation application under development by the authors that provides a portal into the HPC environment as well as interaction with wider-scope semi-automated force simulations (e.g. OneSAF). This VANE desktop application, dubbed the Autonomous Navigation Virtual Environment Laboratory (ANVEL), enables analysis and testing of autonomous vehicle dynamics and terrain/obstacle interaction in real-time with the capability to interact within the HPC constructive geo-environmental CTB for high fidelity sensor evaluations. ANVEL leverages rigorous physics-based vehicle and vehicle-terrain interaction models in conjunction with high-quality, multimedia visualization techniques to form an intuitive, accurate engineering tool. The system provides an adaptable and customizable simulation platform that allows developers a controlled, repeatable testbed for advanced simulations. ANVEL leverages several key technologies not common to traditional engineering simulators, including techniques from the commercial video-game industry. These enable ANVEL to run on inexpensive commercial, off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware. In this paper, the authors describe key aspects of ANVEL and its development, as well as several initial applications of the system.

The proposed technology allows use of the latest microcircuit technology with lowest power and fastest speed, with minimal delay and engineering costs, through new Radiation Hardened by Design (RHBD) techniques that do not require extensive process characterization, technique evaluation and re-design at each Moore's Law generation. The separation of critical node groups is explicitly parameterized so it can be increased as microcircuit technologies shrink. The technology will be open access to radiation tolerant circuit vendors. INNOVATION: This technology would enhance computation intensive applications such as autonomy, robotics, advanced sensor and tracking processes, as well as low power applications such as wireless sensor networks. OUTCOME / RESULTS: 1) Simulation analysis indicates feasibility. 2)Compact voting latch 65 nanometer test chip designed and submitted for fabrication -7/2016. INFUSION FOR SPACE / EARTH: This technology may be used in any digital integrated circuit in which a high level of resistance to Single Event Upsets is desired, and has the greatest benefit outside low earth orbit where cosmic rays are numerous.

As of airtime, Joe Biden leads Donald Trump in GA by more than 14,000 votes. Raffensperger had previously announced that the state would conduct a new pilot program for a post-election Risk-Limiting Audit (RLA), in which officials hand-count small, randomly-selected samples of ballots to determine whether results reported by computer-tabulators are accurate. For unknown reasons, Raffensperger today also declared that he selected the Presidential race for the RLA.  Election Integrity advocates have heavily criticized Raffensperger for forcing the state's voters to use an expensive, unverifiable, computerized Ballot-Marking Device system that can only confirm whether optical-scan tabulators tallied the ballots correctly, instead of choosing a cheaper, verifiable hand-marked paper ballot system, as recommended by cybersecurity and voting systems experts. Now that Trump appears to have lost in GA, many on the Right have suddenly decided that they are also critical of Raffensperger's computerized system. Voting systems expert EDDIE PEREZ, Global Director of Technology and Standards at the nonpartisan, nonprofit Open Source Election Technology (OSET) Institute, explains the confusing mess in Georgia, whether Raffensperger knows what he is doing or is carrying out 'election integrity theatre', and if either side will be satisfied with the ultimate result. The strength and stiffness of components manufactured using RepRap and other 3D Printing technologies are affected by a number of independent and inter-dependent parameters, including: a) the generic stock material used (e.g. PLA, ABS, PE, etc) b) the actual source and condition of the stock material; e.g. it has been reported that PLA filament will absorb atmospheric humidity over time, and this affects its condition when placed using RepRap-type fabrication; it has also been reported that different coloured batches of otherwise nominally identical filament from the same source can exhibit significantly different fabrication properties, and therefore presumably different mechanical properties c) the tool-path and build parameters which are used to fabricate the component (e.g. filament diameter, layer thickness, number of layers in the surface “shellâ€, % solid fill vs. % voids used in the core fill, etc) d) the orientation of the part during printing (filaments parallel or perpendicular to the main load paths, etc) e) the attributes of the actual printer (print head speed, precision / repeatability of placing the print head, backlash, etc) When manufacturing components which are intended to have mechanical strength and function, it is necessary to be able to measure the actual strength of materials which can be printed with a particular machine, using a particular set of printing parameters, so that the strength and service life of the component can be predicted, and to assist in the design of new components which will be subjected to loads whose magnitude can be predicted or estimated. This project came about partly because I am an engineer, and I “need to know†these sorts of things, but was also spurred on by reading an paper on “3-D Printing of Open Source Appropriate Technologies for Self-Directed Sustainable Development†by Pearce, Blair, Laciak, Andrews, Nosrat & Zelenika-Zovko. With the introduction of open source software and particularly DSpace in the broad and ever growing world of information science, it is incumbent on information scientists and digital librarians to stimulate and ensure a sustained understanding, utilisation and optimisation of this new arm of technology. On the one hand, this research article is an investigation into what this new arm of technology called DSpace of open source software is all about. On the other hand, it acts as a gateway into the application of this new arm of technology within the precision of virtual information institutions such as digital libraries. It is within the competence of this research article to demonstrate that through a virtual platform called integrated library system, the timely introduction as well as adequate absorption of DSpace into librarianship is of enduring nature which leads to long lasting significance in information acquisition, management and consultation. In perspective, therefore, the organisation of digital information resources through acquisition and circulation for instance are quite eminent when it comes to the application of this new technology in librarianship. In this scientific write up therefore, there are explorations and presentations of fundamental aspects of open source software technology which contradict those of proprietary software technology. It is recommended that information institutions such as university libraries, archives, museums, etc. should solicit the services, procurement and institutionalisation of DSpace. Finally, a glossary is built at the end of this scientific write up, and through this initiative, meanings are accorded to seemingly challenging terms and concepts which are generally frequent and unavoidable in this branch of information science. This thesis develops a methodology to monitor technology proliferation. It is designed to provide proliferation intelligence on specific threat technologies and can be used to augment export controls or enhance counter proliferation initiatives.
