2Manifolds Of Quasiconformal Mappings And The Nonlinear Beltrami Equation

By

In this paper we show that the homeomorphic solutions to each nonlinear Beltrami equation $\partial_{\bar{z}} f = \mathcal{H}(z, \partial_{z} f)$ generate a two-dimensional manifold of quasiconformal mappings $\mathcal{F}_{\mathcal{H}} \subset W^{1,2}_{\mathrm{loc}}(\mathbb{C})$. Moreover, we show that under regularity assumptions on $\mathcal{H}$, the manifold $\mathcal{F}_{\mathcal{H}}$ defines the structure function $\mathcal{H}$ uniquely.

3Equilibrium Mappings In Polar-isotropic Confined Active Particles

By

Despite their fundamentally non-equilibrium nature, the individual and collective behavior of active systems with polar propulsion and isotropic interactions (polar-isotropic active systems) are remarkably well captured by equilibrium mapping techniques. Here we examine two signatures of equilibrium systems -- the existence of a local free energy function and the independence of the coarse- grained behavior on the details of the microscopic dynamics -- in polar-isotropic active particles confined by hard walls of arbitrary geometry at the one-particle level. We find that boundaries that possess concave regions make the density profile strongly dynamics-dependent and give it a nonlocal dependence on the geometry of the confining box. This in turn constrains the scope of equilibrium mapping techniques in polar-isotropic active systems.

4On The Univalence Of Polyharmonic Mappings

By

A 2p-times continuously differentiable complex valued function $f = u + iv$ in a simply connected domain is polyharmonic (or p-harmonic) if it satisfies the polyharmonic equation $\Delta^pF = 0$ . Every polyharmonic mapping f can be written as $f(z) =\sum_{k}^{p} |z|^{2(p-1)}G_{p-k+1}(z)$ where each $G_{p-k+1}$ is harmonic. In this paper we investigate the univalence of polyharmonic mappings on linearly connected domains and the relation between univalence of f(z) and that of $G_p(z)$. The notions of stable univalence and logpolyharminc mappings are also considered.

5Analog Of Montel Theorem For Mappings Of Sobolev Class With Finite Distortion

By

The present paper is devoted to the study of classes of mappings with non-bounded characteristic of quasiconformality. It is obtained a result on normal families of the open discrete mappings $f:D\rightarrow {\Bbb C}\setminus\{a, b\}$ of the class $W_{loc}^{1, 1}$ having a finite distortion and omitting two fixed values $a\ne b$ in ${\Bbb C},$ maximal dilatations of which has a majorant of the class of finite mean oscillation at every point. In particular, the result mentioned above holds for the so-called $Q$-mappings and is an analog of known Montel theorem for analytic functions.

6An Approach To Studying Quasiconformal Mappings On Generalized Grushin Planes

By

We demonstrate that the complex plane and a class of generalized Grushin planes $G_r$, where $r$ is a function satisfying specific requirements, are quasisymmetrically equivalent. Then using conjugation we are able to develop an analytic definition of quasisymmetry for homeomorphisms on $G_r$ spaces. In the last section we show our analytic definition of quasisymmetry is consistent with earlier notions of conformal mappings on the Grushin plane. This leads to several characterizations of conformal mappings on the generalized Grushin planes.

7Lipschitz Properties Of Convex Mappings

By

The present paper is concerned with Lipschitz properties of convex mappings. One considers the general context of mappings defined on an open convex subset $\Omega$ of a locally convex space $X$ and taking values in a locally convex space $Y$ ordered by a normal cone. One proves also equi-Lipschitz properties for pointwise bounded families of continuous convex mappings, provided the source space $X$ is barrelled. Some results on Lipschitz properties of continuous convex functions defined on metrizable topological vector spaces are included as well. The paper has a methodological character - its aim is to show that some geometric properties (monotonicity of the slope, the normality of the seminorms) allow to extend the proofs from the scalar case to the vector one. In this way the proofs become more transparent and natural.

8The Geometry Of The Mappings By General Dirichlet Series

By

We dealt in a series of previous publications with some geometric aspects of the mappings by functions obtained as analytic continuations to the whole complex plane of general Dirichlet series. Pictures illustrating those aspects contain a lot of other information which has been waiting for a rigorous proof. Such a task is partially fulfilled in this paper, where we succeeded among other things, to prove a theorem about general Dirichlet series having as corollary the Speiser's theorem. We have also proved that those functions do not possess multiple zeros of order higher than $2$ and the double zeros have very particular locations. Moreover, their derivatives have only simple zeros. With these results at hand, we revisited GRH for a simplified proof.

9Positive Contraction Mappings For Classical And Quantum Schrodinger Systems

By

The classical Schrodinger bridge seeks the most likely probability law for a diffusion process, in path space, that matches marginals at two end points in time; the likelihood is quantified by the relative entropy between the sought law and a prior, and the law dictates a controlled path that abides by the specified marginals. Schrodinger proved that the optimal steering of the density between the two end points is effected by a multiplicative functional transformation of the prior; this transformation represents an automorphism on the space of probability measures and has since been studied by Fortet, Beurling and others. A similar question can be raised for processes evolving in a discrete time and space as well as for processes defined over non-commutative probability spaces. The present paper builds on earlier work by Pavon and Ticozzi and begins with the problem of steering a Markov chain between given marginals. Our approach is based on the Hilbert metric and leads to an alternative proof which, however, is constructive. More specifically, we show that the solution to the Schrodinger bridge is provided by the fixed point of a contractive map. We approach in a similar manner the steering of a quantum system across a quantum channel. We are able to establish existence of quantum transitions that are multiplicative functional transformations of a given Kraus map, but only for the case of uniform marginals. As in the Markov chain case, and for uniform density matrices, the solution of the quantum bridge can be constructed from the fixed point of a certain contractive map. For arbitrary marginal densities, extensive numerical simulations indicate that iteration of a similar map leads to fixed points from which we can construct a quantum bridge. For this general case, however, a proof of convergence remains elusive.

12User Worldview Mappings

By

This exercise in mapping is really about putting down on a display surface (paper or board) all the keywords that you can think about in your 'problem area' organised into appropriate categories. This helps to form a worldview (also known as long-shot-view or a birds-view or overview) about the problem that you going to solve. You could look at your problem from the following viewpoints to get an overview:    a. Physical Aspects - includes Sensories, Activities, Artifacts, Environments, Materials    b. Social Aspects - includes Relationships, Emotions, Groups, Celebrations, Communications    c. Cognitive Aspects - includes Memory, Medias, Business, Functions, Processes

13Fixed Point Results For Single-valued Mappings On A Set With Two Metrics Using A Dass Gupta-type Bilateral Contraction

The purpose of this paper is to explore some new fixed point results using a bilateral contraction. The first thing we need to do is recall the work on fixed-point results that have been done in different research papers. By combining the results of two papers, the first was by Rus [12], which discussed different fixed point results on a set with two metrics, and the second was by Chen [4], which used bilateral contractions to prove different fixed point results. In this paper, we present new results for single-valued mappings on a single set with two metrics. In order to accomplish all of this, a bilateral contraction of the type used by Dass Gupta has been used.

14On A Strong Covering Property Of Multivalued Mappings

By

In this paper, a strong variant for multivalued mappings of the well-known property of openness at a linear rate is studied. Among other examples, a simply characterized class of closed convex processes between Banach spaces, which satisfies such a covering behaviour, is singled out. Equivalent reformulations of this property and its stability under Lipschitz perturbations are investigated in a metric space setting. Applications to the solvability of set-valued inclusions and to the exact penalization of optimization problems with set-inclusion constraints are discussed.

15Silverman's Conjecture For Additive Polynomial Mappings

By

Let $F : \mathrm{End}_{\mathbb{F_p}}(\mathbb{G}_{a/K}^d)$ be an additive polynomial mapping over a global function field $K/\mathbb{F}_q$, and let $P \in \mathbb{G}_a^d(K)$. Following Silverman, consider $\delta := \lim_{n \in \mathbb{N}} (\deg{F^{n}})^{1/n}$ the dynamic degree of $F$ and $\alpha(P) := \limsup_{n \in \mathbb{N}} h_K(F^{n}P)^{1/n}$ the arithmetic degree of $F$ at $P$. We have $\alpha(P) \leq \delta$, and extending a conjecture of Silverman from the number field case, it is expected that equality holds if the orbit of $P$ is Zariski-dense. We prove a weaker form of this conjecture: if $\delta > 1$ and the orbit of $P$ is Zariski-dense, then also $\alpha(P) > 1$. We obtain furthermore a more precise result concerning the growth along the orbit of $P$ of the heights of the individual coordinates, and formulate a few related open problems motivated by our results, including a generalization "with moving targets" of Faltings's theorem back in the number field case.

17Affine And Linear Invariant Families Of Harmonic Mappings

By

We study the order of affine and linear invariant families of planar harmonic mappings in the unit disk and determine the order of the family of mappings with bounded Schwarzian norm. The result shows that finding the order of the class $\mathcal{S}_H$ of univalent harmonic mappings can be formulated as a question about Schwarzian norm and, in particular, our result shows consistency between the conjectured order of $\mathcal{S}_H$ and the Schwarzian norm of the harmonic Koebe function.

In this paper it is shown that the class of probability measures L(Q), which generalizes the classical Levy class L, is homeomorphic with the class ID sub log of all infinitely divisible probability measures having finite logarithmic moment. As an application of this result a set of generators of the entire class L(Q) is described. As a necessary tool, the relationship between the uniform integrability of infinitely divisible measures and of their corresponding Levy measures is studied and this may be of independent interest. 19Preservation Of Immersed Or Injective Properties By Composing Generic Generalized Distance-squared Mappings

By

Any generalized distance-squared mapping of equidimensional case has singularities, and their singularity types are wrapped into mystery in higher dimensional cases. Any generalized distance-squared mapping of equidimensional case is not injective. Nevertheless, in this paper, it is shown that the non-singular property or the injective property of a mapping is preserved by composing a generic generalized distance-squared mapping of equidimensional case.

24The Beckman-Quarles Theorem For Continuous Mappings From R^2 To C^2

By

Let \phi((x_1,x_2),(y_1,y_2))=(x_1-y_1)^2+(x_2-y_2)^2. We say that f:R^2 -> C^2 preserves distance d>=0 if for each x,y \in R^2 \phi(x,y)=d^2 implies \phi(f(x),f(y))=d^2. We prove that if x,y \in R^2 and |x-y|=(2\sqrt{2}/3)^k \cdot (\sqrt{3})^l (k,l are non-negative integers) then there exists a finite set {x,y} \subseteq S(x,y) \subseteq R^2 such that each unit-distance preserving mapping from S(x,y) to C^2 preserves the distance between x and y. It implies that each continuous map from R^2 to C^2 preserving unit distance preserves all distances.

25Stochastic Mappings And Random Distribution Fields. A Correlation Approach

By

This paper contains a study of multivariate second order stochastic mappings indexed by an abstract set $\Lambda$ in close connection to their operator covariance functions. The characterizations of the normal Hilbert module or of Hilbert spaces associated to such a multivariate second order stochastic mapping in terms of reproducing kernel structures are given, aiming not only to gather into a unified way some concepts from the field, but also to indicate an instrument for extending the very well elaborated theory of multivariate second order stochastic processes (or random fields) to the case of multivariate second order random distribution fields, including multivariate second order stochastic measures. In particular a general Wold type decomposition is extended and discussed in our framework.

26Integrable Quantum Mappings And Quantization Aspects Of Integrable Discrete-time Systems

By

We study a quantum Yang-Baxter structure associated with non-ultralocal lattice models. We discuss the canonical structure of a class of integrable quantum mappings, i.e. canonical transformations preserving the basic commutation relations. As a particular class of solutions we present two examples of quantum mappings associated with the lattice analogues of the KdV and MKdV equations, together with their exact quantum invariants. plain LaTeX, equations.sty appended

27On The Analyticity Of CR Mappings Between Nonminimal Hypersurfaces

By

Let M be a connected real-analytic hypersurface in two dimensional complex space, $\mathbb C^2$, containing a connected complex hypersurface E, and let f be a smooth CR mapping sending M into another real-analytic hypersurface M' in $\mathbb C^2$. In this paper, we prove that if f does not collapse E to a point and does not collapse M into the image of E, and if the Levi form of M vanishes to first order along E, then f is real-analytic in a neighborhood of E. In general, the corresponding statement is false if the Levi form of M vanishes to second order or higher, in view of an example due to the author. We also show analogous results in higher dimensions provided that the target M' satisfies a certain nondegeneracy condition. The main ingredient in the proof, which seems to be of independent interest, is the prolongation of the system defining a CR mapping sending M into M' to a Pfaffian system on M with singularities along E. The nature of the singularity is described by the order of vanishing of the Levi form along E.

28On Global Geodesic Mappings Of $n$-dimensional Surfaces Of Revolution

By

In this paper we study geodesic mappings of $n$-dimensional surfaces of revolution. From the general theory of geodesic mappings of equidistant spaces we specialize to surfaces of revolution and apply the obtained formulas to the case of rotational ellipsoids. We prove that such $n$-dimensional ellipsoids admit non trivial smooth geodesic deformations onto $n$-dimensional surfaces of revolution, which are generally of a different type.

29Growth Of Degrees Of Integrable Mappings

By

We study mappings obtained as s-periodic reductions of the lattice Korteweg-De Vries equation. For small s=(s1,s2) we establish upper bounds on the growth of the degree of the numerator of their iterates. These upper bounds appear to be exact. Moreover, we conjecture that for any s1,s2 that are co-prime the growth is ~n^2/(2s1s2), except when s1+s2=4 where the growth is linear ~n. Also, we conjecture the degree of the n-th iterate in projective space to be ~n^2(s1+s2)/(2s1s2).

30CR Transversality Of Holomorphic Mappings Between Generic Submanifolds In Complex Spaces

By

We show that a holomorphic mapping sending one generic submanifold into another of the same dimension is CR transversal to the target submanifold provided that the source manifold is of finite type and the map is of generic full rank. This result and its corollaries completely resolve two questions posed by Linda P. Rothschild and the first author in a paper from 2006.

31Local Properties Of Quasihyperbolic And Freely Quasiconformal Mappings

By

Suppose that $E$ and $E'$ denote real Banach spaces with dimension at least 2, that $D\subset E$ and $D'\subset E'$ are domains, and that $f: D\to D'$ is a homeomorphism. In this paper, we prove that if there exists some constant $M>1$ (resp. some homeomorphism $\phi$) such that for all $x\in D$, $f: B(x,d_D(x))\to f(B(x,d_D(x)))$ is $M$-QH (resp. $\phi$-FQC), then $f$ is $M_1$-QH with $M_1=M_1(M)$ (resp. $\phi_1$-FQC with $\phi_1=\phi_1(\phi)$). We apply our results to establish, in terms of the $j_D$ metric, a sufficient condition for a homeomorphism to be FQC.

32Topological Classification Of Oriented Cycles Of Linear Mappings

We consider the problem of classifying oriented cycles of linear mappings $F^p\to F^q\to\dots\to F^r\to F^p$ over a field $F$ of complex or real numbers up to homeomorphisms in the spaces $F^p,F^q,\dots,F^r$. We reduce it to the problem of classifying linear operators $F^n\to F^n$ up to homeomorphism in $F^n$, which was studied by N.H. Kuiper and J.W. Robbin [Invent. Math. 19 (2) (1973) 83-106] and by other authors.

33Convergence Analysis Of Iterative Methods For Nonsmooth Convex Optimization Over Fixed Point Sets Of Quasi-Nonexpansive Mappings

By

This paper considers a networked system with a finite number of users and supposes that each user tries to minimize its own private objective function over its own private constraint set. It is assumed that each user's constraint set can be expressed as a fixed point set of a certain quasi-nonexpansive mapping. This enables us to consider the case in which the projection onto the constraint set cannot be computed efficiently. This paper proposes two methods for solving the problem of minimizing the sum of their nondifferentiable, convex objective functions over the intersection of their fixed point sets of quasi-nonexpansive mappings in a real Hilbert space. One method is a parallel subgradient method that can be implemented under the assumption that each user can communicate with other users. The other is an incremental subgradient method that can be implemented under the assumption that each user can communicate with its neighbors. Investigation of the two methods' convergence properties for a constant step size reveals that, with a small constant step size, they approximate a solution to the problem. Consideration of the case in which the step-size sequence is diminishing demonstrates that the sequence generated by each of the two methods strongly converges to the solution to the problem under certain assumptions. Convergence rate analysis of the two methods under certain situations is provided to illustrate the two methods' efficiency. This paper also discusses nonsmooth convex optimization over sublevel sets of convex functions and provides numerical comparisons that demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

34Topological Barriers For Locally Homeomorphic Quasiregular Mappings In 3-space

By

We construct a new type of locally homeomorphic quasiregular mappings in the 3-sphere and discuss their relation to the M.A.Lavrentiev problem, the Zorich map with an essential singularity at infinity and a quasiregular analogue of domains of holomorphy in complex analysis. The construction of such mappings comes from our construction of non-trivial compact 4-dimensional cobordisms $M$ with symmetric boundary components and whose interiors have complete 4-dimensional real hyperbolic structures. Such locally homeomorphic quasiregular mappings are defined in the 3-sphere $S^3$ as mappings equivariant with the standard conformal action of uniform hyperbolic 3-lattices $\Gamma$ in the unit 3-ball and its complement in $S^3$ and with its discrete representation $G=\rho(\Gamma)$ acting in the hyperbolic 4-space $H^4$. Here $G$ is the fundamental group of our non-trivial hyperbolic 4-cobordism $M=(H^4\cup\Omega(G))/G$, and the kernel of the homomorphism $\rho\,:\, \Gamma\rightarrow G$ is a free group $F_3$ on three generators.

It is showed that, sense preserving mappings $f:D\rightarrow \overline{{\Bbb R}^n}$ of a domain $D\subset{\Bbb R}^n,$ $n\geqslant 2,$ satisfying some modulus inequality with respect to $p$-modulus of families of curves, are open and discrete at some restrictions on a function $Q,$ which determinate inequality mentioned above.

39Kolmogorov Widths Under Holomorphic Mappings

By

If $L$ is a bounded linear operator mapping the Banach space $X$ into the Banach space $Y$ and $K$ is a compact set in $X$, then the Kolmogorov widths of the image $L(K)$ do not exceed those of $K$ multiplied by the norm of $L$. We extend this result from linear maps to holomorphic mappings $u$ from $X$ to $Y$ in the following sense: when the $n$ widths of $K$ are $O(n^{-r})$ for some $r\textgreater{}1$, then those of $u(K)$ are $O(n^{-s})$ for any $s \textless{} r-1$, We then use these results to prove various theorems about Kolmogorov widths of manifolds consisting of solutions to certain parametrized PDEs. Results of this type are important in the numerical analysis of reduced bases and other reduced modeling methods, since the best possible performance of such methods is governed by the rate of decay of the Kolmogorov widths of the solution manifold.

40Schwarz Triangle Mappings And Teichmüller Curves: The Veech-Ward-Bouw-Möller Curves

By

We study a family of Teichm\"uller curves T(n,m) constructed by Bouw and M\"oller, and previously by Veech and Ward in the cases n=2,3. We simplify the proof that T(n,m) is a Teichm\"uller curve, avoiding the use M\"oller's characterization of Teichm\"uller curves in terms of maximally Higgs bundles. Our key tool is a description of the period mapping of T(n,m) in terms of Schwarz triangle mappings. We prove that T(n,m) is always generated by Hooper's lattice surface with semiregular polygon decomposition. We compute Lyapunov exponents, and determine algebraic primitivity in all cases. We show that frequently, every point (Riemann surface) on T(n,m) covers some point on some distinct T(n',m'). The T(n,m) arise as fiberwise quotients of families of abelian covers of CP^1 branched over four points. These covers of CP^1 can be considered as abelian parallelogram-tiled surfaces, and this viewpoint facilitates much of our study.

42Invariant Star Products Of Wick Type: Classification And Quantum Momentum Mappings

By

We extend our investigations on $\mathfrak g$-invariant Fedosov star products and quantum momentum mappings \cite{MN03a} to star products of Wick type on pseudo-K\"ahler manifolds. Star products of Wick type can be completely characterized by a local description as given by Karabegov in \cite{Kar96} for star products with separation of variables. We separately treat the action of a Lie group $G$ on $\Cinf{M}[[\nu]]$ by (pull-backs with) diffeomorphisms and the action of a Lie algebra $\mathfrak g$ on $\Cinf{M}[[\nu]]$ by (Lie derivatives with respect to) vector fields. Within Karabegov's framework we prove necessary and sufficient conditions for a given star product of Wick type to be invariant in the respective sense. Moreover, our results yield a complete classification of invariant star products of Wick type. We also prove a necessary and sufficient condition for (the Lie derivative with respect to) a vector field to be even a quasi-inner derivation of a given star product of Wick type. We then transfer our former results about quantum momentum mappings for $\mathfrak g$-invariant Fedosov star products to the case of invariant star products of Wick type.

43On Finite-sheeted Covering Mappings Onto Solenoids

By

We study limit mappings from a solenoid onto itself. It is shown that each equivalence class of finite-sheeted covering mappings from connected topological spaces onto a solenoid is determined by a limit mapping. Properties of periodic points of limit mappings are also studied.

44Uniform Approximation On Ideals Of Multilinear Mappings

By

For each ideal of multilinear mappings $\cal M$ we explicitly construct a corresponding ideal $^{a}{\cal M}$ such that multilinear forms in $^{a}{\cal M}$ are exactly those which can be approximated, in the uniform norm, by multilinear forms in ${\cal M}$. This construction is then applied to finite type, compact, weakly compact and absolutely summing multilinear mappings. It is also proved that the correspondence ${\cal M} \mapsto ^{a}{\cal M}$ is Aron-Berner stability preserving.

45On Unification Of The Strong Convergence Theorems For A Finite Family Of Total Asymptotically Nonexpansive Mappings In Banach Spaces

By

In this paper, we unify all know iterative methods by introducing a new explicit iterative scheme for approximation of common fixed points of finite families of total asymptotically $I$-nonexpansive mappings. Note that such a scheme contains as a particular case of the method introduced in [C.E. Chidume, E.U. Ofoedu, \textit{Inter. J. Math. & Math. Sci.} \textbf{2009}(2009) Article ID 615107, 17p]. We construct examples of total asymptotically nonexpansive mappings which are not asymptotically nonexpansive. Note that no such kind of examples were known in the literature. We prove the strong convergence theorems for such iterative process to a common fixed point of the finite family of total asymptotically $I-$nonexpansive and total asymptotically nonexpansive mappings, defined on a nonempty closed convex subset of uniformly convex Banach spaces. Moreover, our results extend and unify all known results.

46Proper Holomorphic Mappings Vs. Peak Points And Silov Boundary

By

We present a result on existence of some kind of peak functions for $\C$-convex domains and for the symmetrized polydisc. Then we apply the latter result to show the equivariance of the set of peak points for $A(D)$ under proper holomorphic mappings. Additionally, we present a description of the set of peak points in the class of bounded pseudoconvex Reinhardt domains.

47Linearisable Mappings And The Low-Growth Criterion

By

We examine a family of discrete second-order systems which are integrable through reduction to a linear system. These systems were previously identified using the singularity confinement criterion. Here we analyse them using the more stringent criterion of nonexponential growth of the degrees of the iterates. We show that the linearisable mappings are characterised by a very special degree growth. The ones linearisable by reduction to projective systems exhibit zero growth, i.e. they behave like linear systems, while the remaining ones (derivatives of Riccati, Gambier mapping) lead to linear growth. This feature may well serve as a detector of integrability through linearisation.

49On The Structure Of The Semigroup Of Entire Étale Mappings

By

We hope to be able (in the future) to carefully analyze this structure and to tie the Jacobian Conjecture in dimension two to certain Zeta functions, thereby invoking a powerful arithmetic machinery to handle the two dimensional Jacobian Conjecture. Let us denote by ${\rm et}(\mathbb{C}^2)$ the semigroup of two dimensional Keller mappings. We would like to prove something like the following: a) That there exists an infinite index set $I$, and a family of mappings indexed by $I$, $\{F_i\,|\,i\in I\} \subset {\rm et}(\mathbb{C}^2)$ such that $$ {\rm et}(\mathbb{C}^2)={\rm Aut}(\mathbb{C}^2)\cup\bigcup_{i\in I} R_{F_i}({\rm et}(\mathbb{C}^2)), $$ where if $i\ne j$ then $R_{F_i}({\rm et}(\mathbb{C}^2))\cap R_{F_j}({\rm et}(\mathbb{C}^2))=\emptyset$. b) That the parallel representation to the representation described in (a) above holds true, this time with respect to the left composition operators $L_{G_j}$. These two claims will be the basis for a fractal structure on ${\rm et}(\mathbb{C}^2)$ because the pieces $R_{F_i}({\rm et}(\mathbb{C}^2))$ are similar to each other in the sense that they are homeomorphic, and we further have the scaling property of self-similarity, namely $R_F({\rm et}(\mathbb{C}^2))$ is homeomorphic to its proper subspace $R_{G\circ F}({\rm et}(\mathbb{C}^2))$ that is homeomorphic to its proper subspace $R_{H\circ G\circ F}({\rm et}(\mathbb{C}^2))$ etc . This is the right place to remark that the purpose of the current paper is to start and develop the parallel theory for entire functions in one complex variable. Results in this setting will hint that there are hopes to accomplish the above objective.
