NEW YORK , PRNewswire / — Superstar Italian trio IL VOLO  releases their highly anticipated new album IL VOLO SINGS MORRICONE  (Sony Masterworks), available everywhere now . Endorsed by Ennio Morricone’s family,  IL VOLO SINGS MORRICONE  is a dedication to the beloved Maestro and an exciting journey through the art and music of one of the greatest composers of the 20th century. Of the new album, Il Volo shares: “We are very proud to continue Ennio Morricone’s legacy by sharing the beauty of his Italian melodies through our voices with a new generation.” IL VOLO SINGS MORRICONE ALBUM  – PURCHASE & STREAM HERE “THE ECSTASY OF GOLD” OFFICIAL VIDEO – WATCH HERE IL VOLO SINGS MORRICONE  is comprised of 14 songs that recall the Maestro’s legendary melodies from “ The Ecstasy of Gold ” (from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly ), featuring new lyrics written specifically for the trio by Ennio Morricone’s son, Andrea Morricone to “Your Love” (from Once Upon a Time in the West ). Another highlight is “ I colori dell’amore ” (“The Colors of Love”), an unreleased track composed by Andrea for the trio, which was unexpectedly performed live for the first time at The Arena di Verona on June 5, 2021 . Rounding out the album is “E più ti penso” (“The More I Think of You”), a medley of Ennio Morricone’s scores from the films Once Upon a Time in America and Malèna , a nod to the trio’s live performance of the song with the Maestro at Piazza del Popolo in Rome in 2011. It also features three artist collaborations: violinist David Garrett on “La Califfa” (“The Lady Caliph”), HAUSER from 2CELLOS on “Se” (“If”) and trumpet player Chris Botti on “Come Sail Away.” In celebration of their new album, Il Volo will also embark on a world tour, which kicks off in North America on March 4, 2022 in Canada and continues to the United States beginning March 11 .  The 25-date North American tour will include stops at iconic venues like Radio City Music Hall in New York , Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles , and the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco . Michigan peninsula has been substantially redrawn, the profiles in the lower left corner of the map have been eliminated to reveal a good bit of Republican Texas, Wisconsin and Iowa are shown, Missouri is enlarged in the northwestern corner, and new counties are added in most of the settling states. This is a major revision of the map. There is added a new key index system of numbers (and letters for Texas) to go with an attached "Alphabetical Index to the Four Sheet Map of The United States" (see our #4846). The index is bound in patterned tan cloth covered boards 18.5x11 with a label reading "Index Of Places, Contained On Tanner's Map Of The United States." Most copies of this map are either colored in outline or in full color by state; this copy is in full color by county - the only such example we have seen. Streeter Texas 1232 is the 1836 edition of this map, which apparently shows Texas in much the same form and includes the separate index volume. Map is edged in green cloth, dissected into 60 sections and mounted on linen. Folds with marbled end sheets into the original half leather red cloth covers 22x17 with ties; title on the spine is stamped in gold and reads "Map Of The United States With Index 1839." See note field above Phillips Maps of America, p. 885 (dimensions are incorrect); Howes, T28; Ristow, p.198; cf Streeter Texas, 1232 (1836 edition).

Andreas made 9 separate editions of this atlas, one for each of the 9 Congressional Districts; each district ed. had special views of that district. See the reprint ed. by the Iowa Historical Society for a complete reproduction of all district views, as well as a discussion of the marketing technique in the preface. A second title page precedes the illustrated title page reading "A.T. Andreas' illustrated historical atlas of the State of Iowa. 1875. The Lakeside Press, Clark and Adams Streets, Chicago." Full color, both hand painted and printed. Bound in half leather embossed dark brown cloth covered boards with "Illustrated historical atlas of the State of Iowa 1875." in gilt; title is also blind stamped on the back cover. Not in Phillips Maps of America. Irregular paging.
