Update 5/31/2015 -- I had some trouble with the amplifier wiring and with user Veladrin's help I changed the wiring. A new diagram (rev.3 is posted). Also -- note in the step-by-step the configuration instructions are for RetroPie 1.9 -- for any newer releases, some of the directories have changed. I plan to post an updated how-to with new instructions, and this will also include a new design for use with the RPi 2. This is a set of modifications to 3Derp's awesome Portaberry Pi design. Big change - the case mod here allows for direct mounting of the joystick and the face buttons without the plates -- looks a little more streamlined and allows for a logo to be placed on the front face. I also posted a connections schematic and a very thorough step-by-step how to guide to accompany 3Derp's image gallery. This is good for any Portaberry construction Small changes - I mixed up the speaker plates as well as the Joystick and button plates with a splatter effect. Looks pretty nice I think. Whoops - noticed one of the face buttons was off center by a couple of mm -- fixed and uploaded as topmod 1_1

Lady Frankenstein (Italian: La Figlia di Frankenstein) is a 1971 Italy horror film directed by Mel Welles. It stars Joseph Cotten, Rosalba Neri (under the pseudonym Sara Bey), Mickey Hargitay and Paul Müller (actor). The script was written by cult writer Edward di Lorenzo. Plot The films opens with a trio of grave robbers (led by a man named Lynch) delivering a corpse to Baron Frankenstein (Cotten) and his assistant Dr. Marshall (Müller), for obvious reanimation purposes. Baron Frankenstein's daughter Tania (Neri/Bay) arrives from school, having completed her studies in medicine, and is greeted by her father and his servant, the handsome but mildly retarded Thomas. Tania reveals to her father that she has always understood his work with "animal transplants" to be a cover for his work reanimating corpses, and that she intends to follow in his footsteps and help him in his work. The next day, Frankenstein, Tania, and Marshall witness the execution of a criminal who is hanged down a Water well, and it is implied that his body will be harvested for their experimentation. Law enforcement agent Captain Harris (Hargitay) arrives to harass Lynch at the hanging. Harris claims to be on to Lynch's grave robbing. That evening, having harvested salient body parts, Frankenstein and Marshall successfully reanimate a corpse (The Monster) as Tania secretly watches. The Monster, however, bear-hugs Frankenstein to death almost instantly, then walks out of the castle. Tania and Marshall report the murder to Harris, but claim that it was a burglar. Meanwhile, the narrative is interspersed with shots of the Monster roaming the countryside killing locals, including Lynch. Tania then goads Marshall into admitting harboring romantic feelings for her. She responds to his affections, but says that while Marshall's body is old, she finds the body of Thomas young and attractive. The "solution" to this situation will be to transplant Marshall's brain into Thomas's body. To accomplish this, Tania seduces Thomas, and Marshall kills him with a pillow during their lovemaking. Tania then transplants Marshall's brain into Thomas's body. The local villagers, however, have had enough and arrive to destroy the castle, replete with torches and pitchforks. In the chaos, the Monster arrives and has a fight against Marshall/Thomas and Tania. The Monster is defeated, but Tania's allegiance during the fight is highly suspect. Harris arrives with Thomas's sister to see Tania and Marshall/Thomas enjoying post-fight sexual intercourse. However, during their lovemaking, Marshall/Thomas strangles Tania to death, and the film ends.

Today's youth is demanding to be heard in a way that few other youth generations have before. The experts try to explain this phenomenon and in general, their explanations are the same, a put down of our youth. Some of the general societal forces which have led to this situation deserve some mention: (1) the extension of adolescence, yet during this period a demand for responsibility with little or no experiences or opportunities to take it; (2) a demand for credentials but little respect for what few they have; (3) the continual erosion and disenfranchising of the community and the American family unit from its training and educational responsibilities; (4) changing roles of fathers and mothers; (5) the presence of "the Bomb"; (6) the encouragement to think for oneself rather than blind obeisance; (7) hypocricy; (8) the ridiculous rites of passage, drive at 16, be drafted at 18, vote at 21; (9) a lack of community spirit, and feelings of group solidarity. Perhaps the behavior that adults become so indignant about is an attempt to find some standard, some value, and some communication with others. (KJ)

The baron's grandson rents the family castle to a TV crew to fund his atomic revival of the family monster.

Dr Simon Helder, sentenced to an insane asylum for crimes against humanity, recognises its director as the brilliant Baron Frankenstein, the man whose work he had been trying to emulate before his imprisonment. Frankenstein utilises Helder's medical knowledge for a project he has been working on for some time. He is assembling a man from vital organs extracted from various inmates in the asylum. And the Baron will resort to murder to acquire the perfect specimens for his most ambitious project ever.

What they actually said sounded nothing like that but I loved the combination of the words and even started writing a story. I tried to draw it but since I barely draw anymore it looked like ass and I stopped. Doing this to hopefully kickstart me into drawing him again. The music is a weird mixture of hip hop, classical, and haunting nonsense. I like it.

THE GOOD DINOSAUR If you and your kid were wondering what would've happened if Dinosaurs didn't go extinct...you weren't alone, the folks at Pixar were, too. And this one's also getting positive buzz...you can always count on Pixar to look amazing...and watching the trailer you see it looks just brilliant... And children should connect well with a couple of youngsters, one human, the other dinosaur, as they figure things out alone in a scary big world... VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN On the other end of that Tomato Meter is where you'll find this one... It should work, it's got Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy in the lead roles and there's a definite swing toward some humor and the effects look great... Tonight's Spooktacular entry is especially interesting as it is more than likely the most faithful adaptation of the Mary Shelley's classic  Frankenstein  ever produced for radio, film, or television. Australian radio produced a thirteen part serial which starred George Edwards in no fewer than seven roles. While there are no concrete air dates available, it's fairly obvious the serial ran in either November or December of 1931, following the U.S. premiere of the Universal film on November 21st, probably as a way to both drum up interest and take advantage of the movie's immediate American popularity prior to an international release. B Movie Breakdown - Episode 65: I, Frankenstein This week on the podcast, for the first time ever, the movie we have chosen was literally just released in theaters this past weekend. The movie we speak of is none other than I, Frankenstein starring Aaron Eckhart. It's opening weekend box office take was only $8.3 million, on a budget of $65 million. We figured, if we are going to see this abomination, why not go all out; so we saw it in IMAX 3D! Yes, this movie was actually released in IMAX....if you can believe that. The tale takes us on the journey of Frankenstein's monster as he is stuck in a war between demons and gargoyles. Throughout the movie there is tons of fighting, fighting, and did I mention fighting. If we were all 10 years old and watching this movie, we would have loved every single second of this disasterpiece. So enjoy episode 65 as we discuss 2014's I, Frankenstein.
