This portion of the State of New Mexico's FY2002 DEPSCoR improved the capabilities of the University of New Mexico to participate in electromagnetic effects testing and analysis on electrical and biological systems through the development of a short-pulse, high-field intensity test structure in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Our program focused on two inter-related areas: 1) the design, construction, and testing of a tunable pulser system, and 2) development of physical chemistry models that can be used to predict and explain phenomenology that we observe in these tests.
