This report, Part 2, presents the proofs, derivations, and explanations omitted in Part 1, together with some results which were either previously unpublished or are now out of print. The basic topics covered are probability of detection of a radar signal, calculation of the radar pattern-propagation factor, atmospheric losses, antenna noise temperature, and the relationship of range-prediction errors to the individual errors in the range-equation factors.
