Buttons of the remote for my wife's Hyundai i20 wore out and became unusable. Created a new rubber pad and printed it with Flashforge elastic meterial. The elastic material is more stretchable than normal flex filament.

Standard 1 & 1/8 pinball flipper button. The thread is the same as standard flipper buttons so you can use the metal pal nut if you have it. You might have to drill out the retention clip hole to 1/16, I used a cut up paper clip for the wire. It works right off of the printer but it's a much smoother action if you sand the sides of the insert and the inside of the housing. Thx Kaji_fi. This is "little buttons version", because I accidentally bought small buttons! (draw not perfect... the Top is not solid =P ...but works for me! and I share...)

I bought this 8 LED - 4x4 Push Buttons - 4 pull up connected button board and I just wanted a little bit more decent or look nice if in a future I want to use in a project. This is a set of functional button covers for the anet a8. This is my very first design ever so please let me know how I can improve. Update V 1.1: I made the inside depth a little more shallow to help the buttons engage sooner. Update V 1.2: Fixed the arrow on the up/down button to make it symmetrical.

It can be really hard to let go of mistakes in the heat of the moment, but also hard to move on from stellar performances. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to just push a button and reset? What if we told you that there is a way to mentally reset? So my dad's parrot hands free had broken buttons (and apparently it's a common thing, and people are selling some on ebay for like 30$ because they know so many people broke them so they're worth gold), so I searched for an stl file here on thingiverse, and found one (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3044649 by SteveAmor) but I'm very picky and wasn't satisfied because of the gaps. Still a great design, tho, especially since he's the first person to have done it. So I decided to design this in solidworks and I feel like I've done a decent job for a solidworks beginner. It's not perfect, because the holes are not aligned with the leds on the board, but it's good enough for me and the light still shows a little when it's dark, not at all when it's bright, but who cares, it's only useful to have the lights at night. EDIT: Print face down with supports :)

I smashed my phone screen so many times (like 5 times) in a few months and I was sick of ALL case designs. I also methodically tested glues for holding the new screens to my phone but in the end I wanted a lightweight hard case. You will need 10 x 1mm self tapping screws to hold it together. They are very strong. You might need to clear out the clearance holes in the back and pilot holes for threads in the front with a sewing needle. A pin is usually too thick. Test your printer calibration by printing some holes before you try this. The clearance holes are 1.2mm and the pilot holes are 0.7mm. The buttons move freely for my taste at 0.2mm clearance. If you want a tighter fit, scale them up accordingly. The case weighs about 20g or less than an ounce. It never broke. It protected my phone from several hip-height drops onto concrete. The last time it dropped, the case and the screen protector and the LCD survived but the digitizer cracked. I am planning to revise the design to incorporate felt cushioning next time and will make a new post when that is ready. But I ordered some silicone cases and if they are good for me then I won't do that. I ended up here because several case sellers online let me down and now finally after smashing 5 screens someone is sending me something that will have enough impact resistance. I'm still going to cut out the back for cooling. I liked the idea of LoveMei cases but they were too heavy for my taste at around 800g with the phone! My ex had one and it was ok in a purse but not a pocket IMHO.

Actually, I just wanted to build a simple alarm clock ... So I made this Wifi enabled LED matrix clock. It's controlled by an ESP8266. The LEDs are WS2812 5mm. You can change the screens by tapping one of the 3 capacitive buttons on the top. The software offers the following features: - Time - Weather information (condition & temperature, wind strength, humidity, pressure) - Current Bitcoin price in € - Facebook Friends (work in progress) - Youtube subscribers (work in progress) I'm working on a simple software framework, so everyone can easily implement his own animations. This door opener is based in other found it through thingiverse but with minimum size and adding a case with a hitch to avoid it to slips freely. The model source is https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3314887 But the most useful modification, at least for some people, is that has a channel in the extreme to add a regular wire and make contact in digital buttons, for example in boards of lift elevators (the one it needs digital touch to be activated). It doesn't require any special specification, I tried with PLA and PETG but should work fine with ABS and any other material not too flexible. Useful tool for Coronavirus cares ;-) The images are not the best result because I used a problematic Petg, but it prints pretty best usually. I recommend an infill of 30% to 40% to let it be hard and flexible enough but not breakable. Enjoy!
