# Description This thing is a mechanical upgrade for Scalar XL 3D printers. This upgrade allows to use a Tr8x1.5 trapezoïdal leadscrew instead of a standard M8 leadscred on Z Axis. It has been suggested that the peculiar properties of the luminous Type Ic supernova SN 1998bw and its low-energy gamma-ray burst GRB 980425 may be understood if they originated in a standard gamma-ray burst explosion viewed far from the axis of the relativistic jet. In this scenario, strong radio emission is predicted from the jet on a timescale 1 to 10 years after the explosion as it decelerates and spreads into our line of sight. To test this hypothesis we have carried out late-time radio observations of SN 1998bw at $t=5.6$ years, yielding upper limits which are consistent with the continued fading of the supernova. We find these limits to be consistent with an off-axis jet only if the progenitor mass loss rate is $\dot{M}\lesssim 4 \times 10^{-7}$ M$_\odot$ yr$^{-1}$ (for a wind velocity $v_w=1000$ km s$^{-1}$) or the fraction of the shock energy in magnetic fields is $\epsilon_B \lesssim 10^{-3}$. These values are low relative to those inferred for cosmological GRBs. We combine the SN 1998bw measurements with existing observations for a sample of 15 local Type Ibc supernovae to estimate that at most 6% produce collimated, relativistic outflows.

The common interpretation of the LDA band structure of V$_{2}$O$_{3}$ is that the apparent splitting of the $a_{1g}$ band into a low intensity structure deep below the Fermi energy and a high intensity feature above it, is due to the bonding-antibonding coupling of the vertical V-V pair. Using tight-binding fitting to --as well as first-principles NMTO downfolding of-- the spin-up LDA+U $a_{1g}$ band, we show that there are other hopping integrals which are equally important for the band shape as the integral for hopping between the partners of the pair.

In quasi-one-dimensional conductors, the conductivity in both one-dimensional axis and interchain direction shows peaks when magnetic field is tilted at the magic angles in the plane perpendicular to the conducting chain. Although there are several theoretical studies to explain the magic angle effect, no satisfactory explanation, especially for the one-dimensional conductivity, has been obtained. We present a new theory of the magic angle effect in the one-dimensional conductivity by taking account of the momentum-dependence of the Fermi velocity, which should be large in the systems close to a spin density wave instability. The magic angle effect is explained in the semiclassical equations of motion, but neither the large corrugation of the Fermi surface due to long-range hoppings nor hot spots, where the relaxation time is small, on the Fermi surface are required.

The dynamical instability of a self-gravitating magnetized filamentary cloud was investigated while taking account of rotation around its axis. The filamentary cloud of our model is supported against self-gravity in part by both a magnetic field and rotation. The density distribution in equilibrium was assumed to be a function of the radial distance from the axis, $ \rho _0 (r) \, = \, \rho _{\rm c} \, ( 1 \, + \, r ^2 / 8 H ^2 ) ^{-2} $, where $ \rho _{\rm c} $ and $ H $ are model parameters specifying the density on the axis and the length scale, respectively; the magnetic filed was assumed to have both longitudinal ($z$-) and azimuthal ($\varphi$-) components with a strength of $ B _0 (r) \, \propto \, \sqrt{ \rho _0 (r) } $. The rotation velocity was assumed to be $ v _{0\varphi} \, = \, \Omega _{\rm c} \, r \, (1 \, + \, r ^2 / 8 H ^2 ) ^{-1/2} $. We obtained the growth rate and eigenfunction numerically for (1) axisymmetric $ ( m \, = \, 0 ) $ perturbations imposed on a rotating cloud with a longitudinal magnetic field, (2) non-axisymmetric $ ( m \, = \, 1 ) $ perturbations imposed on a rotating cloud with a longitudinal magnetic filed, and (3) axisymmetric perturbations imposed on a rotating cloud with a helical magnetic field. The fastest growing perturbation is an axisymmetric one for all of the model clouds studied. Its wavelength is $ \lambda _{\rm max} \, \le \, 11.14 \, H $ for a non-rotating cloud without a magnetic field, and is shorter

A novel interplay between d-wave superconducting order parameter symmetry and the underlying Cu 3d orbital based electronic structure of Copper-Oxides leads to a striking anisotropy in the superfluid response of these systems. In clean tetragonal materials the c-axis penetration depth increases as T^5 at low temperature T, in contrast to linear T behavior in the ab-plane. Disorder is a relevant perturbation which causes all components of the superfluid response to depend quadratically on temperature at low temperature. However, the cross-over temperature scale from the intrinsic d-wave behavior to the disorder dominated behavior for the in-plane response may be different from that for the out-plane response.

We present a method for inverting charged particle velocity map images which incoorporates a non-uniform detection function. This method is applied to the specific case of extracting molecular axis alignment from Coulomb explosion imaging probes in which the probe itself has a dependence on molecular orientation which often removes cylindrical symmetry from the experiment and prevents the use of standard inversion techniques for the recovery of the molecular axis distribution. By incorporating the known detection function, it is possible to remove the angular bias of the Coulomb explosion probe process and invert the image to allow quantitative measurement of the degree of molecular axis alignment.

Galaxies on the largest scales of the Universe are observed to be embedded in the filamentary cosmic web which is shaped by the nonlinear tidal field. As an efficient tool to quantitatively describe the statistics of this cosmic web, we present the anisotropic two-point correlation functions of the nonlinear traceless tidal field in the principal-axis frame, which are measured using numerical data from an N-body simulation. We show that both of the nonlinear density and traceless tidal fields are more strongly correlated along the directions perpendicular to the eigenvectors associated with the largest eigenvalues of the local tidal field. The correlation length scale of the traceless tidal field is found to be ~20 Mpc/h, which is much larger than that of the density field ~5 Mpc/h. We also provide analytic fitting formulae for the anisotropic correlation functions of the traceless tidal field, which turn out to be in excellent agreement with the numerical results. We expect that our numerical results and analytic formula are useful to disentangle cosmological information from the filamentary network of the large-scale structures.

Made this remix because the original's mini bearing was too tight in tolerance, shrunk the inner bearing down in the middle so it could have a looser tolerance.

When I changed my extruder to a Bowden extruder the switch was not able to detect anymore so I designed this part which simply clip on the two 8mm rod. Moreover on my Prusa i3 the X end stop was at the opposite side of the electronics and now I can connect it at the other side and easier. You will have to desolder the original switch and solder it on the opposite side of the PCB to use this support (as shown in the picture). It will now detect your X carriage and not your extruder motor. Remember to change the end stop side on your firmware. Required parts : 1x Modified EndStop 2x M3 10mm screw 2x M3 Nut 4x M3 Washers Mount 2 washers between the PCB and the part for each screw.

I've never once had the need for two extruders on my Creator Pro, but as I am keen to use some exotic filaments and to get more consistent prints I decided moving to an E3D V6 Hot End would be a step forward. If you haven't discovered E3D Hot Ends yet, you should check them out, they make some brilliant products including a 2 input / 1 output hot end and a water-cooled quad hot end: http://e3d-online.com I initially made a mount that fitted on the existing carriage, however it wasn't perfect as the existing carriage was obviously not designed with the E3D Hot End in mind. So I designed this carriage. The bearing housings work exactly the same as the original Creator Pro carriage, just snap the bearings into place. The belt anchor from the original carriage can be used with this carriage. Just fit the Hot End into the mount, place over the other half of the mount and secure with suitably sized M3 screws through to the extruder stepper motor. The left extruder motor should lineup perfectly with the top of the Hot End. I have fed the heater and thermocouple wires through the space under the stepper motor. You may also notice I have an extra piece of plastic in the images which the wires are cable tied to. This was just a 20mm x 20mm x 10mm cube that I had lying about which is primarily there to allow the end stop to press the carriage. I plan on incorporating this into the carriage on a later revision. I will also be changing the other side of the carriage to allow for a cooling fan next to the nozzle.

Made a small bracket to slide in the X-axis carridge of the BQ Hephestor Prusa i3. Used the webcam holder and beam for the Logitech C270 webcam. It works for me. 6-3-2016: added longer beam to set because the webcam was too close to the printbed.

Baden-Powell asked her to leave Mafeking for her own safety after the Boers threatened to storm the British garrison. This she duly did, and set off on a madcap adventure in the company of her maid, travelling through the South African countryside until she was finally captured by the enemy and returned to the town in exchange for a horse thief being held there. Dwindling food supplies became a constant theme in the stories she sent back to the Mail and the situation seemed hopeless when the garrison was hit by an outbreak of malarial typhoid. The Able McLaughlins won the Pulitzer Prize for a novel in 1924 in Margaret Wilson's debut work. Aptly described as "Little House on the Prairie - but for adults" the novel follows a group of Scottish families who pioneer the Iowa prairie in the 1860’s. The main storyline concerns Wully, the eldest McLaughlin son, who returns home from the Civil War to find that his sweetheart, Chirstie, has experienced an unspeakable tragedy that will profoundly affect the couple's lives. Their story is one of shame and honor, secrets and guilt, fear and loathing, revenge and forgiveness. But perhaps the stars of the novel are the strong older women such as Wully’s mother, Isobel, whose love and matriarchal strength keeps the family together as well as Chirstie’s stepmother, Barbara, who finds ways to make her good-for-nothing husband keep his promises. Published between 1833 and 1841, the 90 Tracts were written by various members of "The Oxford Movement". They cover various aspects of Anglo-Catholic doctrine and other theological matters. The lead was taken by John Henry Newman (who made the largest contribution), but several other churchmen associated with Oxford University were also involved, among them John Keble, Hurrell Froude, and Edward Pusey. Among the newly written tracts were also re-prints of works from previous generations. The Tracts are of various lengths, ranging from a few pages to book-length works. The format and cheap prices, meant that the Tracts were widely disseminated. Volumes 1 and 2 also had new translations of the works of the early Fathers of the church appended to the end.<br><br> Volume 1 contains Tracts 1 to 46, along with 18 "Records of the Church". These last include all the extant epistles of St. Ignatius, alongside works by Justin Martyr, Irenæus, Clement of Alexandria, and Tertullian. Cerberus. Not that these efforts were confined to Victoria alone. The not-infrequently perilous straits of the Mother Country as it navigated the treacherous shoals of European politics and global empire provided ample reasons for insomnia. To varying degrees the other states too had constituted forces, and most made a start at acquiring ‘warships’—an assemblage tending more to the ‘dinky’ side than that term might otherwise suggest. But where naval matters were concerned New South Wales made something of a false start, while Queensland and South Australia simply started late. Whether this is because the issue didn’t resonate as much in the other colonies, or whether Victoria simply had larger resources to sink into an inherently (economically) unproductive project is not immediately obvious. Efforts _were_ made in all the colonies, however and joint defence and a federal fleet would be a not insignificant impetus towards Federation. The Australian colonies would largely abandon armaments acquisition with the depression of the 1890s, but the arrival of Theodore Roosevelt’s Great White Fleet in 1908 exercised popular imagination, and the recently federated Commonwealth of Australia set about acquiring a new navy. This new Royal Australian Navy, lead by the battle-cruiser HMAS Australia, steamed into Sydney Harbour for the first time in late 1913. This new institution would be tested far more strenuously than the naval forces of the unfederated colonies ever were.
