Energy wastage is one of the major challenges that is facing the world now as there is insufficient supply of energy and the little ones supplied was not appropriately used. This energy wastage has made many researchers to engage more on the research to stop this energy waste as a result of inappropriate allocation of energy to some devices even when they don’t need it. This research work was able to design and implement an improved automated DC Motor speed controller system using microcontroller successfully. The software used for this research work were Fritzing software and Arduino Nano. This project was able to improve on the working system of the DC Motors and energy was automatically and successfully saved. The system runs entirely on Bluetooth technology which consumes less power than other devices. The Android application is user-friendly with enhanced Wireless communication. This design was successfully developed and implemented with 80% accuracy. The design was able to work effectively by increasing the cutting speed when the softness of the material decreases and as the cutting tool material becomes stronger, the cutting speed increases. This showed that the design is effectively and efficiently developed with less energy/power consumption which is the earnest desire of an Engineer as it reduces cost.

A group of lesser used analog control system design techniques, generally termed parameter plane methods, is examined through the use of an IBM compatible microcomputer program developed as part of this thesis. The coefficients of a system's characteristic polynomial are determined by the plant and any added compensators. As these coefficients are varied , so too are the roots of the characteristic equation and therefore the system response in terms of bandwidth, settling time, etc. In the parameter plane method, a designer selects two parameters of a system's compensator(s) . The parameters commonly represent such attributes as a compensator gain, pole, or zero but can be any linear system function. One or more system characteristics dictating desired system performance, such as relative damping or undamped natural frequency, are computer model inputs. The associated parameter values to achieve the input characteristics are output in graphical and/or tabular form.

THE PARAMETERS OF A COMPUTING SYSTEM ARE GIVEN AS A COMPLEX OF CONTROL ALGORITHMS. THE NECESSARY CONTROL QUALITY CAN BE OBTAINED BY THE PROPER ORGANIZATION OF THE INPUT INFORMATION, THE STRUCTURE OF THE ALGORITHMIC CONTROL SYSTEM, AND THE COMPUTING PROCESS.

THE PARAMETERS OF A COMPUTING SYSTEM ARE GIVEN AS A COMPLEX OF CONTROL ALGORITHMS. THE NECESSARY CONTROL QUALITY CAN BE OBTAINED BY THE PROPER ORGANIZATION OF THE INPUT INFORMATION, THE STRUCTURE OF THE ALGORITHMIC CONTROL SYSTEM, AND THE COMPUTING PROCESS.

Control systems were investigated in which the engine regulators and the attitude stabilizer blend well together. The engine initially studied was of the 280-hp Artouste turboprop type. Three simple configurations were analyzed by means of root locus procedures: (1) intergral control in the rpm feedback loop and proportional control in the temperature feedback loop; (2) proportional control in the rpm feedback loop and integral control in the temperature feedback loop; and (3) integral control in the rpm feedback loop and rate control in the temperature feedback loop. No specific grain values were recommended, but the third configuration seemed likely to give the best dynamic response. Figures showing the main pole-zero points for all 3 loops in each configuration are presented.

This is a report of an occupational survey of the Automatic Flight Control Systems career ladder (AFSCs 32530, 32550, 32570, 32591) which was completed by the Occupational Survey Branch, USAF occupational Measurement Center, in October 1977. The previous occupational survey of this career ladder was published during March 1972. The report describes: (1) development and administration of the survey instrument; (2) summaries of tasks performed by airmen grouped by skill level, experience level, and similarity of tasks performed; and, (3) comparisons with current career field structure documents. An analytic method for the design of automatic controls has been developed that starts from certain arbitrary criterions on the behavior of the controlled system and gives those physically realizable equations that the control system can follow in order to realize this behavior. The criterions used are developed in the form of certain time integrals. General results are shown for systems of second order and of any number of degrees of freedom. Detailed examples for several cases in the control of a turbojet engine are presented.
