This thesis describes a C language implementation of the GROWTH ALGORITHM computer program to manage a fault-tolerant computer communication network. Simulation tools are developed to verify and validate the operation of the GROWTH ALGORITHM, and concepts are developed to evaluate the performance of the communication network. Keywords: computerized simulation; modules(electronics); distributed input output processing.
