This is still a work in progress - we are currently just using this page to share files between students - stay tuned for updates in build instructions - code and lessons to be included! We are happy to thank 3M and Donorschoose for helping to make this project come to life! Our Sachem East High School Engineering class created a Robot design to be digitally shared across the globe! Print out an IzzyBot body in your favorite color, gather your robot parts listed in the bill of materials, and follow the instructions to learn how to build and program your own robot. Please share your experience and where you are located in the comments section. We are interested to see how this robot is built and used on every continent! We chose Infinite Source Sonar Explorer - or "Izzy" for short - for our name because we were researching robotic parts that could be easily sourced in many places along with it being an open source design for educational use. We were lucky to be funded through DonorsChoose.Org (https://www.donorschoose.org/project/students-design-physical-robots-to-be-sh/2693845) and our donations were matched by 3M. We appreciate all the support for the project and we hope it helps spread open source coding learning resources around the globe!
